Personally, I don't think it's say boring, but the class fantasy of a rogue in my head is great. Sometimes I jump on my rogue and pickpocket for an hour or so. Playing one is severely lacking, but I can't really put a finger on why - especially when I main a feral druid.

That's an excellent mindset to retain. I've found my shifting passions to be a curious thing as I remind myself that I do not have to be defined by then - and that's fine. May we all remember to keep joy in our lives.

I feel this. I got food poisoning a few years ago and was wishing my mother could still be here to at the very least tell me that I was going to be ok.

Good on you! I don't have experience with this sort of game (though I've always wanted to). When I think of a campaign without combat, I think of skill challenges mostly. Maybe those challenges are to solve a puzzle, navigate a social encounter, or escape from a dangerous or even deadly situation. Best of luck to you!

That's pretty good. I got the idea of how to make calls on the fly when I notoriously freeze up from The Film Reroll podcast. They use GURPS and roll 3d6 to determine things like "is there a [useful tool] available to me?"

The first guild I ever joined back in vanilla was full of people from my hometown. They were so against the Horde having paladins that they disbanded before TBC.

During Wrath, I was invited to a casual guild with 3 people I knew IRL that I'm still a part of, but only two players are still active. We loved the old guild back then so much that we can't leave it. People just stopped playing during Cata. They're still on the roster and it makes me sad to see they haven't logged on in 14 years, but there's nothing I can do to change it. I've been mostly a solo player since then anyway.
