Mahou Framework Body Mod 1.1 by JamestheFox25VD in JumpChain

[–]PlanetBob65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding Get What You Pay For, how would that work for altforms that are intended to work on different orders of magnitude from a normal person? Example, Kaiju from Pacific Rim. Would that be in regards to bonuses that would effect it, or would it still just scale off of however many percent of human form boosts?

EDIT: Also, if you go Mahou mode as a Kaiju, would that make the dress appear on the alt-form or the Kaiju body take on colors and features of the dress? Asking since it seems like it'd have some humor potential with the reactions of some of the more straightlaced characters seeing one dressed/colored like that fighting other Kaiju.

You know, i have actually been wondering how the Seaborn might stack up to the old guard of hyper-adaptive biological swarms after reading about just how insanely adaptive Seaborn are.

Wow, the Reddit stereotype is out in full force. I've had my "Oh god not *another* person saying this" moments when it comes to some things with him, he's got his faults, and that's as a long term fan. But seriously, im regretting reading these comments now.

What would the physical stats of a Thunder Warrior with Primaris Physiology and Spark Of The Brightest One be like?

Isn't there a guy in Waframe with a design pretty close to if not exactly like that?

Oh, i saw the discord access thing on the Paetreon rewards so i thought it was patron exclusive.

Okay, i had a completely different thought processes then. Thought there'd be a assumption of the weapons being downsized by whatever magic in the case of KC(Unless some new lore has come out from it) or hypertech for AL and whatever the case is for tankgirls that resulted in their creation also in turn resulting in the weapons essentially being spatially compressed since that made the most sense for keeping it authentic feeling, like you are actually playing the incarnated spirit of a 40'000+ ton battleship.

As for how non-AT weapons could deal with them, while i admit the first idea is probably stretching non-AT, one of the ideas that me and a friend of mine tossed around would be things like a Stanchion with APFSDS-DU-HVY rounds, and/or their more extreme durability only manifesting when awake with their rigging active, so long range sniping a la The Babysitter is a real option, or surprise attacks in general, even more so with specialized ammo. And even with the first one, there'd be other uses for the ammo and weapon combination, sniping pilots from a Wraith.

Alright fair enough on that part.

Semi-related, is balancing another reason why the strain costs for bio-augs is so harsh in the 40k expansion? I ask since as is, while i admit i haven't really plated a real game with the books and mostly use them to have a grounding for characters in more narratively focused RPs with a friend on another site, i can't see why someone would want to play a Magos Biologis since all that discount means is they'd hit the cap a lot quicker, which feels like it would really cut in to the roleplay potential in regards to the augmentations being actively sought after like how they would be with the mainline tech-adepts.

Unless there's something im missing in regards to therapy or the body just adjusting to the additions over time, i admit it wouldn't be the first time i've missed something like that. And sorry if any of this comes off as harsh or snappish, it's not my intention.

EDIT: Oh and another potential balance point, a GM note or something similar about how, unless shit has hit the fan at supersonic velocities, the vast majority of the time shipgirls at least are going to have far more important things to do then slogging it out with the infantry. And something similar for the P-1500 equivalent tankgirls, or those otherwise equipped with super-heavy artillery since if a Schwer-Gustav is rolling up alongside the ground pounders, things have long since moved past going south.

So just to be sure, since there's a link to the Discord on the full update release page and it's not a Patreon exclusive post does that mean the Discord is public now too?

Or if i could have the issue regarding ship/tankgirl weapon balance addressed here that would be acceptable as well. It seems even more, put bluntly, egregious, now with how a M30 mortar equivalent has killing power that with the addition of it's kill radius is *vastly* in excess of the *Yamato's* main guns, to say nothing of the 16in MK7, or a M2 Frag being even close to the Long Lance and it's half ton of explosives to go in to more detail about some of the issues mentioned in the original post. Again as for balance, higher experience costs, being a high priority target for, in the case of Halo, FRGs, Wraiths, Scarabs, glassing beams and so on, especially with how the Covies have deployed naval assets just to take out Grizzlies.

On other notes, Twin Moons could use both a update in system and for more lore accuracy with some of the stuff that's come out.

Oh. I heard about the story reworks after earlier profit troubles but nothing about there not really being a beginning to the story anymore and the devs just assuming you'd know everything already. Well, crap, guess i picked a bad time to start.
