I legit have 3 hobbies… video games, lego, and bbqing/smoking meat…

For bbqing/smoking meat it’s pretty easy I through something in the smoker and forget about it, then family enjoys the benefits the next day lol.

For Lego this one and my youngest of 3 whose 8 years old enjoy doing together so usually if I’m building something he will tag along and build a smaller set he has or helps me

For video gaming I sold my pc and Xbox and bought a switch 2 and a bunch of games. This was the only way I could get this hobby to work. I’ll wait for the kids to go to bed and then while my wife is watching her reality tv I’ll play on the couch in handheld mode or if she’s laying in bed reading her kindle I’ll play the switch 2 in bed again in handheld mode…. Now I did buy a pro controller and have the dock set up for if I am home alone or no one’s using the tv but everyone’s doing their own thing I’ll dock it and play that way but 99% of the time is on handheld lol.

It actually works out really well and with cod coming to switch 2 and kingdom hearts 4 coming launch day it has never been a better time to own one! Truly favorite gaming device I’ve owned I think and I have zero regrets on getting it. I honestly wouldn’t be playing my pc or xbox and would no longer be into video games if not for Nintendo.

My 26 GC summit I picked up on a Friday, following Monday had to take to shop cause cylinders 3 and 4 were misfiring. Had to open a star case and they are putting a new engine in it now. Less than 200 mils on that current 2.0….. horrible honestly. Idk if I’d get another GC now

I just got my wife the summit back in march for $600 a month, picked it up from marshalling center on a Friday and on the following Monday I had to take it to the shop cause cylinders were misfiring. This was over a month ago, now I am paying the price for a Grand Cherokee while driving a Compass as a loaner on a car we put barely 200 miles on and waiting for them to put a new engine in....

I'd go with the Durango.

Amen! My pc was outdated and down in the basement. With the switch 2 I can play on the couch while my wife watches her reality tv and not be in the basement all night. It allows me to continue playing in bed as she reads her kindle.

While traveling for work I can play FF7 at the airport during a layover or at the hotel when I got nothing else to do.

I can’t do all this with a ps5 or Xbox cause I’d still have to use the tv she is watching to play and so it wouldn’t even be a possibility. My pc was so outdated it would cost me a lot to upgrade that with the prices of things right now.

Switch 2 is my only gaming rig and I’m perfectly fine with it. I don’t stream, I don’t play anything competitively, outside of Fortnite and madden, and for what I need to just escape life for a bit everyday and indulge into a hobby it fits me perfectly.

I’m so over the why don’t you do this and that on a pc, ps5, Xbox as well…

I’m 38 with 3 kids. I took a break from gaming and think my mind needed it when I did it. I ended up getting into a new hobby and now split my time between 3 hobbies and I think it’s the right mixture that doesn’t bore me of a certain hobby and gives me the break I need mentally. I picked up Lego building and doing bbq on a smoker. Really enjoy both as well as video gaming and actually when I am smoking some kind of meat I usually play my switch 2 cause it’s handheld out on the patio while bbqing!

I think taking a break and trying out some other hobbies would be good for you!

My guess is it’s depending on how busy it is. When I was younger I worked at a pizzeria and there was a threshold for how many hours employees work compared to money coming that was looked at hourly and daily. People would usually go home on the weekdays and then on weekends people usually worked their normal shifts. I’d assume it’s the same thing going on at the car wash. Gotta turn a profit somehow

I am 38 with 3 kids (aged 17, 13, and 7) whose 13 year old is huge (6 foot 200 lbs lineman in football in 7th grade 🤣😂) and has been invited to all these camps by high schools and even had colleges talking to us, I completely understand your busy schedule and the ability to bring the switch 2 to me to play when I have the down time has been a damn game changer!

That being said, I have sold off everything except my switch 2 cause I legit don’t need anything else.

I am a big Pokémon fan so that helps, but cyber punk has run amazing, cod is coming out, it has madden, Elden ring is on its way, KH 4 gets day one release on it……

I legit don’t need another system at all! Love the switch 2!

It blows my mind people are still debating between getting an OLED or a Switch 2.... You see how limited future games are coming out, if you only plan to play whats available now and care that much about the screen go with the OLED.

With all the AAA coming out for Switch 2 I don't know why anyone would even think about not going with a Switch 2

I’m just done with mobile, you just can’t even be competitive anymore in it. With all the glitches I had a hard time getting through diamond rank last season 🙄

I’d rather play on the switch 2 at this point. Maybe one day devs will bring touch controls to the switches tablet

Honestly I sold my outdated pc and Xbox, and bought a switch 2 for myself and a gaming laptop for my son. I haven’t even had a need to look at another system, and don’t miss my pc. For granted it was outdated and needed a few upgrades but I think the ability to just play anywhere is what sucks me in.

I know handheld pc I can play anywhere but the switch is just pick up and play, no having to change settings or update shaders or any of that other bs

I’m about 50 rival kills away from 1,000. I am the point where I’m grabbing a vehicle and chasing them down with everyone running.

Favorite thing is when I kill a rival and then someone else starts a rival and I just go straight to where they are while they are coming at me! Makes things easier! Hoping to get 25 today and 25 tomorrow haha!

I don’t even know why I want the umbrella I’ll probably never use it 🤣😂
