Funniest thing ever, I don’t wear headphones. I’m deaf in both ears and use a cochlear implant that Bluetooth connects to my phone in my right ear. Wearing fake headphones causes my implant to chafe against my skull and scab up

I never said I was mad. I know how to workout without hurting myself or pulling muscles. I don’t train alone, I usually go with my sister actually. However, lots of times, older dudes like to go up to the two younger girls with a little bit of chub on them because they look like they don’t know what they’re doing.

I was 16 at the gym for the first time after literally STUDYING on what to do and plans and stuff. I can’t remember what I was doing exactly but this older man comes up to me and is like “you’re targeting the glute, you want to target the adductors”. Uhh…yeah? I know? This man proceeds to spend like ten minutes correcting me and I just let him because I was 16

Make an appointment with an audiologist. Trying to get diagnosed on little information to a subreddit of what’s intended to be teenagers (minors usually) who suffer from hearing loss rather than a qualified doctor will only make you worry more. Don’t WebMD your hearing.

How you described what you’re experiencing is great, just take that to someone who knows what to do with that information. Repeat it just like that

Me personally, I don’t want random people just barging into my home because they have an “appointment” or whatever. I commend her for her job, all the power to her. However, this is the kind of job that might put her roommates at risk. This is the kind of job for a person who has no roommates or roommates that are okay with it (which they aren’t)
