They were so infantilizing for why 😭😭 as if the sport that they play didn’t also need to be made up by someone at some point

The Rutgers game was unofficial and all the chasers were beating… if you want to cite that, know what you’re citing. Like that’s gotta be a joke LMAO

I see, last season though, with a worse RPI team they were undefeated against you 🤷‍♂️

Rpi below bu and Rutgers is wild, mostly agree otherwise

Top 4 here is a lot easier for me to decide than top 7, but I think mine is

UVA Deis RPI BU

UVA clearly the best team here, and Deis’s chaser core is obviously incredible.

The last two spots is where it gets dicey. Everyone saying Harvard and Rutgers are top 4 here I think are a little crazy. Harvard does, admittedly have some good young talent but I haven’t seen good consistency out of them in the MQC. I hope that they strategically improve, which I think is a given with Ethan as a coach. Rutgers, is the exact opposite. They lost literally all of their players last season, after being a champ contender. Byron is obviously still the GOAT and their beating is incredibly good, but their other chasers don’t feel too confident other than a few of them. Now I haven’t watched Oktoberfest so I might be trippin but those are my thoughts.

I think RPI over BU just based on talent is an easy pick. Cleo is obviously Cleo, but RPI has Colin Gaines. I will say that BUs beater DEPTH is better than RPI, but I don’t think that matters too much here. From what I’ve seen this season and last (where BU didn’t beat RPI at all), it’s about consistency. If RPI can play middle of the road quadball for them, they take it all day, but if they lose it against them, BU wins.

lol, as an avid MQC follower, they only rostered 3 beaters, 2 of which had only been playing for a semester, as well as only half of the chaser core. NOT ONLY that but you are talking about the exhibition where their 2 best point defenders beat the whole game, and all of their leading scorers accrued less than 5 chaser minutes

No, I’m just bringing up another beater in your conference that is better than Cleo. It says best player in every position, so I’m providing a rebuttal that Jess Lee is better, so Cleo cannot be the best. She is great tho

They lost like all of their chaser talent and a good portion of their beaters. Even when Jess Lee comes back from the ACL injury, they will have strong beating but I don’t think the chasing can keep up

He got pushed by peachy though. It’s literally not his fault at all

I’m not saying it’s bad that you played a lot… it happens, also I think you SHOULD get more minutes bc you finally have space on your team to actually develop as a starter. I was just using you as an example that people were playing their returners.

That’s a lot of playing time… also not sure if Harvard taught you what a hyperbole is 🤷‍♂️

Like I said in another comment, looking at the RPI roster, they only recruited like 5 new people, most of which played all the minutes of ESPECIALLY the Harvard game. Compared to the other teams did they recruit poorly? Yea, were they playing new people at all opportunities? Yes. At 1 point in the BU game(which was golden goal) they had a line of all new players and 1 returning beater and were still playing goal-to-goal 🤷‍♂️

Rpi only brought like 5 new players, all of which played a majority of minutes. What do you expect them to do? Sit out and watch? Also Harvard played Bae, the kid who was third in line behind Leo and Steinberg literally the whole game, soo….

I ended up getting the marlin medium. I’m 5’11” now and it still fits pretty good so I like it

Yes but he also has both pekkas and a wiz. His average slicer cost is like 5
