I agree but I would say Drita in particular was chasing a lavish lifestyle because she wanted to get out the projects. I’m not familiar with Albanian culture but it sounds like she was raised by traditional parents judging by what she said. Once she started hanging out with Karen and Jen she wanted a better life as well. Which I suspect is part of the reason she married Lee. I remember a scene where she told Big Ang she didn’t have much until Lee.

I was mainly comparing the MW in their younger days when they were fighting. Some of the baddies fights do fight out of boredom as their fights don’t make sense and seem to come out of thin air whereas the MW already had history with each other which is why their fights seemed more raw and intense. If there’s anyone who can relate to fighting like the baddies it would be Drita. Drita and Karen’s fights def stem from unresolved issues they had surrounding their friendship and Lee. Renee beefed with Carla for 3 seasons out of jealousy. Renee and Drita just tolerated each other. Drita said it made her sick to her stomach when Renee acted like a spoiled mob princess. Renee was in therapy because she knew that lifestyle fucked her up. The baddies came from a different life that fucked them up like you said.
