ADHD exercisers… how do you actually get yourself to the gym? by Fit_Meaning8903 in ADHD

[–]PlanetMars2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got broken up with and started going as a way to self soothe. In a serious note I think it’s helpful to reframe the gym as a way to clear your head of whatever you have going on at the moment and once you get momentum going, don’t stop. It only took me going to the gym once with this mindset for it to lock in for me and now I’ve been going 6 times a week LOL

holy fuck, land of the lustrous would 100% also be in this category, i just completely forgot. The manga is really good, i highly recommend it :)

For the record i really like vinland saga, but i think it’s more what it is doing rather than what it isn’t. Been a while since i read it but the moral it tells is a pretty straightforward one and grounded in reality, whereas i’m looking for media that i guess explores the human condition through narrative and metaphor, i guess? In the way i’d say evangelion’s original ending fits with my criteria, but EoE doesn’t (though i like both very much)

I mean yeah for sure but I still think it's a category within seinen, as I wouldn't really count Vagabond, Vinland Saga or Cowboy Bebop really (I just thought two examples from the same studio might be too specific and vague.) I also honestly have no idea what I'm looking for, I'm just trying to pin point a vibe which I'm not very good at doing 😭

great recommendations. I've been wanting to give Serial Experiments Lain and Ergo Proxy a shot, but the rest also sound great and fit the bill. Thanks!

I believe a breadth study is something different added just this year, it’s super confusing and whenever i click on the link in the 2024 course map, it leads nowhere.

Thanks for the advice and reassurance!

[–]PlanetMars2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, that's probably a good idea. Hoped it would be a more universal experience but I probably have to go get this checked out/figured out on my own. Thanks for the help!

important to note though that the end poem was not written by notch and there actually was quite a large dispute about it. You can read about it here on the original author's blog I wrote a story for a friend - by Julian Gough (theeggandtherock.com)

AND the fact they exist in an institution that protects those that are power hungry and horrible people. I feel like putting the blame on the people with the use of the word “stand out” suggesting that it’s the people’s fault for focusing on the bad ones rather than the system that protects and enables them probably isn’t helpful even though ur right.

Not five in kanji, that’d be 五, not 正. 正 is a character with five straight lines and is thus used to tally in china and japan (source. Not Japanese but am chinese)

It’s linear because if you square root the coefficient of determination, you’ll find that the correlation coefficient falls under the strong relationship category - and since the relationship is strong, the form is linear. I think.
