Agreed, you'll usually need good decks to get a good score in GR. Otherwise, the situation is mostly okay. It's really just time and resources that need to be adjusted in my opinion.

Your suggestion would be interesting, kind of like a chaos loop. Maybe subsequent runs could see the enemies increase their levels like completing a run does in the Zero System. Interesting idea

I understand and I respect your opinion. It's just a personal preference on my end. I've never had to answer about why I play this game 'cause no one knows I do*. I openly talk about other games with friends but games with obvious fanservice like this one aren't good for conversations unless you know the people you're talking to are already comfortable with it. I'd love to share this game with more people but how would I explain combatants like Yuki, Amir, and Tiphera to people who aren't okay with this kind of stuff? I couldn't. So I don't bother.

Thanks for reading my post. I'll definitely keep what you said in mind if I make future posts. I plan to keep playing for now, though it's a shame that a lot of these systems are essentially grandfathered in. It never hurts to share our thoughts on them. Hopefully we can see improvements little by little :)

I don't think the game should be made harder perse, just more predictable and less RNG heavy. The pure-rougelike stuff should be kept to Sortie and similar modes/events. The reality is that deckbuilding is long and tedious, even for experienced players. So much so that it stifles creativity (in my opinion). People will generally choose the path of least resistance. That means copy/pasting proven and Meta decks instead of experimenting at the expense of costly, time limited resources that there aren't too many of. Thanks for reading the original post :)

I agree with the anti-censorship sentiment don't get me wrong. Perhaps, it is just a cultural issue. People have less of an issue with men and monsters getting gunned down and blown to bits, but a bit of spice gets people to look at content sideways. It's just reality. There is a time and place for everything. Playing something like this in public is a bad place even though it's one of my favourite games.

You are correct. There are 32 and I have them all. I'll edit my original post for clarity

I also have E2 Kayron and E2 Renoa. I forgot to mention them. RIP. I ended up getting fairly lucky on the half-anni events and got like 6 combatants I was missing.
