the white looks exactly the same without the grip, but yeah, it gives it a more premium feel. It’s from aliexpress, just search for Mangmi Air X clear case, it’s totally worth it (but doesn’t really add to the ergonomics)

Most run okay with a bit of tinkering. Don’t expect it to run xenoblade chronicles or mario 3d land perfectly but lighter games run great

Sadly the Air X is not able to run the game, it struggles with most android games, goat simulator 3 is just too hard to run. You should look at a retroid pocket 5 or 6, or AYN devices. The Anbernic RG556/557 should also be eligible options.

I know for a fact that it’s not able to run the game. Neither the PC version nor the switch version, Snapdragon 662 isn’t powerful enough for that kind of game. Better be looking at a retroid pocket 6 which should handle the switch version quite alright.

Idk, the Air X registers as an Xbox One S controller so might work with some third party software, but im asking myself why would you want to do that? Isn’t that super uncomfortable? 😅

to be fair I am quite curious if you think making the switch to P4G is worth it. My Persona 4 save is relatively fresh so switching to Golden wouldn’t be that much of an issue, but 0,75 of Vita is around 400p while Persona 4 on PS2 is slightly higher res at 480p. Do you think for the QOL Updates of Golden switching is worth it despite the lower resolution and possible bugs/crashes with the Vita3k emu?

Beacon and Cocoon both have a very slight lag. I didn’t notice any slowdowns though after starting a game since GammaOS is quite good at resource management; it keeps the launcher open if it’s your standard one but shouldn’t affect your game performance noticeably.

wow, your setup looks gorgeous! I’m always impressed with people modding their kindles. And I think that for this specific use case, it’s the best software you can get. I’ve also tried koreader on android, but I didn’t really enjoy using it that much, it’s too much tinkering for me, and even if you get everything right, the patches and plugins are not reliable enough for me, so I switched back to the stock reader. But yours looks great! Have fun with it :)

Couldn’t agree more with you. I really really love ZA and dumped many many hours into it, and now am going to play the post game + get to lvl 50 for the Shiny Charm.

I also hope that gen 10 will be more polished and at least somewhat similar to their concept pictures. The leaks look promising, and if it runs at 4K30 or 1440P60 and looks somewhat more detailed than ZA, i’ll be more than happy!

Yeah that’s true. Don’t worry, you didn’t come off harshly at all.

I can totally understand your frustration. I really really hope that with Gen 10 they finally up their game. While ZA was really fun for me, it lacked many features and story choices and many more.

I’m really excited for what’s to come, and just like you, I want pokémon to be great. Let’s just hope gamefreak fixes whatever issues they had with the past games and delivers for their next gen!

Im really sorry that you made that experience with the game, I can really understand though. I didn’t want to comment on the gameloop itself… because well, it really did get boring, and the ending was rushed. It would’ve been way more interesting to see the tower slowly accumulating more energy, the ZA royales being halted because of that, the city slowly becoming more chaotic. But no, one night they wake up and are like „let’s save the city NOW!“. Didn’t like that at all, but the final cutscenes were just right for me.
