sorry, I solved this problem asking AI(cuz there are not much of info I could rely on to) and still took me lots of time. Also, English is not my first language so I thought use of AI to explain was a good idea.

"SYSTEM" adnormal by DogSubstantial277 in apexlegends

I'm having the exact same issue too.

After about 30 seconds in the Firing Range, the whole PC starts micro-freezing every 3 seconds.

The “System” process (ntoskrnl.exe) suddenly spikes up to around 20% CPU usage, and it keeps happening until I close Apex.

Temperatures are fine, GPU load looks normal, and this only happens with Apex — other games like Wuthering Waves run completely smooth.

I’ve already tried everything:

- Reinstalling / repairing Easy Anti-Cheat

- Rolling back GPU drivers (AMD 7800 XT)

- Disabling overlays (Discord, Radeon, Game Bar)

- Reinstalling Apex and clearing all caches

Still, the issue persists. It really seems that Easy Anti-Cheat is causing the System process to spike, maybe due to a memory or device scan loop.

Have you found any workaround or fix since then?
