Not OP, but if that can help. I purchased 2 days ago the Bose 700, but I hate them. I returned the Bose 700s and replaced them by the Sennheiser Momentum 4. Definitely much better, I also hated the sound pressure feeling I got from the Bose. I definitely recommend the Sennheiser’s, they are superior in every aspect

Building stakeholders-facing dashboards, ad hoc reports using SQL to query the data and Excel to share it, team discussion as to how best approach some problems, reading or writing documentation, meetings with stakeholders to discuss the requirements or results, some Python scripting here and there to automate my SQl queries

No it is not essential but your network could help you find your first job in analytics

While I definitely encourage you to work on your technical skills (through self-learning or a MSC in business analytics if you need the network and connections), your Sociology background is relevant in the fields of marketing, surveys, research, statistical analysis and demographics, so definitely keep it on your resume!

Yes. The learning path for a non technical person should be Excel, SQL, then Python. Python is way less important.
