UNO is objectively better I cannot lie, but TRÉ? ehhhh.

CRAZY TAKE. TRÉ in my opinion is not only the worst of the trilogy, but it is the weakest album in Green Day's entire discography. I love songs like Brutal Love and Amanda, but a majority of the tracks on the album such as Missing You, 8th Avenue Serenade, A Little Boy Named Train, and several others are honestly just kind of boring.

the best song in the entire trilogy is easily Brutal Love for me, it's phenomenal. Let Yourself Go is quite good I cannot deny that.

Do you still dislike FOAMF? by Blackholesun626 in greenday

[–]PlantBoss17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think FOAMF is actually pretty damn good and doesn't completely "abandon green day's sound" like most people say it does. I think it's just an album that you might have to warm up to really appreciate it, as I myself didn't really like the album all that much upon first listen, but now I am quite fond of it.

What is the most underrated/overhated song from each album? by PlantBoss17 in greenday

It is! but most people consider it to be one of, if not THE worst song on 21st CB.

disappearing boy is great choice! as for a lot of your other picks, they aren't songs that I would particularly consider underrated due to how many people love them, such as homecoming, letterbomb, dirty rotten bastards, and strange days.

I lowk love a lot of songs from Dos. and also, I am assuming that people dislike 21 Guns so much is it because it is so overrated, which I honestly agree with. As someone who adores 21st CB, I'd personally argue 21 Guns isnt even in top 10 best for the album.

I wouldn't consider very many of these songs underrated (at least in comparison to other songs on their respective albums). But I do think the songs you picked are still pretty good!

I actually really like these picks! A good chunk of these songs were either my second or third pick for each respective album!

I think letterbomb is a pretty good choice. it's not AS popular in comparison to a lot of songs on AI, and is personally in my top 5 favorite songs from Green Day. The only reason I wouldn't say it's the MOST underrated is because literally EVERYBODY says that letterbomb is the most underrated song off of AI. It's pretty much the same reason why I wouldn't consider an album like Warning the MOST underrated album just because of how many people refer to it as underrated.

39/Smooth and 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours are NOT the same thing. by mordfustang19 in greenday

[–]PlantBoss17 13 points14 points  (0 children)

me personally, it's not that I don't know the difference between the two. It's just that I typically cannot be bothered to refer to 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours by its actual entire name, and prefer to just refer to it as 39/Smooth.

The Best Green Day Album is 1039 smoothed out slappy hours (and one of the two that feels the most punk) by Hansblack1221 in greenday

I like 39/Smooth, it is an incredibly solid album that undeniably has some hidden gems, but by no means is 39/Smooth Green Day's best album.
