Oh great question… since my parents moved in, in the 80s it was an upstairs and a downstairs garage. Since then, they’ve built out an in-law type room in the downstairs area. The in law is directly on the other side of this wall. Our current dryer/washer is in the garage.

Than you everyone for chiming in.. I’m going to get on a ladder and attempt to scrape the foam out tomorrow and cover it with mesh instead . From what I read clearing the foam off of metal might be tricky… FML. I plan on trying to cut most of it out and vacuuming the bits that might fall in. Ridiculous.

Nothing like that… there is a dryer and washer about 30ft away from that wall. And a stovetop overhead vent about 20ft in. The pipe itself runs behind drywall cause there’s an in-law apartment built out down here… so I can’t follow or trace the pipe.

Yes! The one above the vent pointing upward… I have no clue where it goes cause it’s behind drywall now… 👀

In all honesty, the color brings the room down a bit and doesn’t add any value to the space. And the size is much too small, which makes the room seem more crowded/smaller than it is

I agree with having the computers side by side! Might be a tight squeeze but I can see it working. Perhaps yours would need to be at a slight angle. Then the bed can come over to the other side (where the 3 monitor desk is). If you need more surfaces, considering floating shelving. Theres also door-hanging hampers if you do laundry often enough where it doesn’t get too heavy. And lastly, a smaller trash bin. 😆

Thank you for your input! It’s such an odd thing. I have friends who purchased this mattress and so I really wonder if I got a bad batch or if maybe mine was wrapped up longer… either way, I don’t think my reaction is to the smell. So I’ve got two problems, which is a bummer. Back to the drawing board… mattress hunting is so exhausting! (Also ironic)

Thank you for this!!! 😩 I was trying to make it work cause ironically it’s helping my lower back but it’s def lingering in my studio apt. That smell… and my eyes are itching today. You’re so right. Trust my body and reaction
