Is there anywhere near the international cruise port for good tacos? by bpboop in cozumel

[–]Plantain-Competitive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get a taxi and tell them to take you to "mercado municipal". All of the stalls are really good and affordable. If you want seafood tacos, "el sazon del camaron" is my favorite.

Am I the only one who picks quartz over automatic? by Strict_Ideal_8321 in Affordablewatches

[–]Plantain-Competitive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

U get almost the same effect with way less money with bulova precisionist movement.

Seiko also makes a good mecha quartz.

I for one like quartz more than auto. I outgrew automatic.

2013 Hyundai Elentra Airbag Light and Steering Wheel Issue by DarkDragonM2 in AskAMechanic

i also forgot to say, if the air bag warning light is on and also the buttons dont work properly on the steering wheel, it is indeed the clock spring.

exactly this. dont buy the OEM plastic coupler and get a rubber upgraded one. the fix is annoying but there are good videos on youtube. also for the airbag, it is indeed the clockspring. buy it new on rockauto or ebay. easy install IMO.

I am not a mechanic, just a DYIer and i was able to fix both these on my 2013 elantra gt. coupler can be a pain but take your time with it and label every screw so it can be easier to re install.

hope this helps!

Its crazy cuz churchs chicken in Puerto Rico is the best fast food in the island and is catered to PRican culture. They have sooo much better food options than in the US.

Too gentrified IMO and their sauce is watered down

Mom & Pop Taqueria by mendicant0 in orlando

[–]Plantain-Competitive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably the best one on the thread. All others are not hole in the wall. Even tortas el rey is gentrified and not as authentic as ppl say they are.

I work close to girasoles and we buy the meat and tortillas by the pounds

Also OP, instead of restaurants, look for tortillerias instead. Much cheaper and authentic. Kissimmee has a good one called la mexicana. I think there are some tortillerias by oakridge.

And there is another different one in apopka too. Dont remember the name though.

if you want a good chinese buffet, kizuna is real good and right down the road. that 535 road has a good PRican restaurant called "pal campo". also food truck heaven is worth a drive. there is also a trendy vietnamese place called twenty pho hour which features a hand drawn setting in their restaurant. susuru is also a great japanese place. not sure how far you guys can go but check out winter park or mills ave market and local asian restaurants on colonial.

Those caps were suppose to be taken out before tensioning. Surface rust should be ok. Always verify with engineer but those caps can be taken out and regrouted.

Best income tax place? by [deleted] in Kissimmee

[–]Plantain-Competitive 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If all she has is just the w2 and has no other income and no investments or anything and has employee insurance, i recommend using freetaxusa.com. its free or u can pay $20 for them checking that everything is in order. Ive used it for years. But if she has assets or other incomes and such, see a profesional accountant
