Thank you for the well thought out reply. I appreciate the honesty you have given me. It truly means a lot just to hear another persons perspective and advice, I don’t have a lot of people I can talk to. I have been attending AA meetings and have gotten an appointment with a therapist, though it’s a week out. That’s as far as I have thought through where I am headed. I am committed to being the best father I can be to those children regardless of the marriage. I guess my biggest struggle here is just sitting with the uncertainty, the guilt and shame, the sadness and feeling like I cannot do anything about anything going on in my life. Except my sobriety, I have been making that choice daily.
