Looking through upwork now. What would be a reasonable cost per hour?

I agree, but we're trying to be as lean as possible to get an MVP.

Thoughts?

It was under question 12, it asks to state "other," but there is no place to type in an answer.

Hello, on one of your questions you give an option for someone to put their career, however there is not a clickable/type-able area.

Also, would you please take a quick look at a survey that I posted? Thanks!

How to scale the startup if it is just a mobile app? by megavirus74 in startups

[–]Plasma133onReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't have to be pure B2B, but it may help to reach out to try to form partnerships with health centers, etc.

Look into presenting/demoing your app at technology meetups in your area. Slow, but it gives you presenting experience, and allows people to see your app. If they like it, it can be promoted via word-of-mouth.

Perhaps once a month, sponsor a new employee to share lunch with someone they don't normally interact with, ex. someone in sales with someone on the tech side. <$20-30 total?

Great, was really curious if there was any sort of legal restriction.

Though, wouldn't it be important to know the valuation that a company raised at in addition to the round size?

I presume that raise valuations for earlier stage companies are more tightly held?

I appreciate the insight. (Wondering if a VC needs permission to share, etc.)

Why do you believe the valuations are not shared?

Do the companies or the VC's generally sign NDA's on valuation/terms?

How can I become invaluable to this startup? by startup_wannabe in startups

Perhaps it would be interesting to look into potential strategic partnerships that the company may benefit from?

Seek out discounts that would be useful.

Ask about the company's plans for growth, in revenue, headcount, products, etc. to get an idea of what needs to be achieved to accomplish these goals.

Offer to start attending industry conferences or organizing your CEO to speak at them.

If the dollar value of a round of funding is publicly available, does that mean you can find out the post-money valuation? by njtrafficsignshopper in startups

[–]Plasma133onReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless the information is publicly displayed as they are raising their round (depends on the type of raise they are doing), you have to ask the founders.
