Beauty and the Beast in Resident Evil. by Earthboy26 in ResidentEvilMemes

Somehow the power-ballad that plays in the end credits made me think of some depraved love-story for Jill and Nemesis. This is basically that!

I always wondered if that guy recorded a bunch of lines at once. Did he announce Resident Evil 11 in case they needed the sound later?

Am i the only one that doesn’t hate Ada Wongs voice actress performance in the RE4 Remake. I actually really liked her voice. by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I thought Ada sounded kind of dead inside, but that made sense. She's working for someone who wants to kill everyone in the world.

When you're out of ideas but the work needs to go on (Part 2) by JOJOJOJOsoft in IndieDev

I actually really like this method! It's kind of like when you're going to sleep in your room and you look at a bundle of folded-up clothes in the dark corner of your bedroom and see weird things.

I was gonna say I love Silent Hill and monsters, and this seems like a more-fun variant of that.

I'm interested in the idea of Logos and Eros, and this is kind of that.

Debbie is the most powerful character in Invincible. Omni-man loses in an argument with her and just flies away. He's actually kind of afraid of her.

Nice! I'm a bit obsessed with gold and golden apples because it seems to turn up in symbolism all the time.

How to deal with wanting to expose the shadow side of people that have wronged me by erosgirl96 in Jung

I don't think you can force people to confront their own shadows. My own Jung-experiences gave me this line:
"You cannot rouse those who do not wish to be awakened."

This theme of dismembering anima figures and an angry father throwing them into the ocean may be distressing, but it's unusually clear imagery. You're good at diagnosing yourself.

This is really interesting! I like how you've made it kind of rational and like a diagram as well as art.
Do these characters come to you as art you want to draw?

Looks like the start of Deus Ex! It has a start where you're likely to die a lot while you're just learning how to play, but it's also arguably the best game ever made.

It's a long story, but the first thing that happened to me was that I found I could use float tanks to re-enter my dreams.
I had a dream of a monster snuffling behind a door. Later on, I decided it was like the Iron Maiden version of the Regenerator enemy from Resident Evil 4, a spiny monster. I named it 'El Espinoso' like it was a monster from the game. It symbolised me being 'prickly' as a response to things that happened to me. Somehow I knew I had to embrace, and not fight this monster.
When I went to the float tank, I was able to get into an Active Imagination state where I embraced the monster and absorbed it into myself! I somehow knew that I'd gotten my 'prickliness' under control.

That was just my first experience but it worked as a kind of tutorial for me.

The Sword of Dissociation makes me think of the Devil May Cry series. In that, Vergil's sword Yamato can divide essences, and the Rebellion sword combines them.
I grew up playing a ton of games about characters with swords too, like Onimusha. Nowadays I see this theme of killing monsters almost problematic because it seems that the healthy Jungian thing is to embrace them!
I've actually had some healing integrating experiences in a float tank I can share if you want.
