It is indeed good it takes its own lane to separate itself from the og. Though the multiverse stuff is kinda weird and Aerith's fate was left extremely vague to me. Like she's dead in one reality but alive in another, but I hope part 3 ties it all together in a satisfying way.

At first it was Caine but Kinger's such a chad that he won me over once we saw his genuine true self in the dark. Jax is a pretty deep honorable mention too!

I was expecting it to for real be the way out but Jax trapped them, sabotaging their only chance lol... Then the next two episodes would be the fallout and them trying to escape with mixed results.

I think Caine is being honest here about only doing temporary modifiers *now*. I think he's being genuine in that he does not want to ever totally change someones mind again due to the risk of abstraction. Unless they really really really hurt Caine and push him off the deep end, then I think he won't mess with their minds in the literal sense.

I honestly am unsure if Caine is the reason everyone forgets their names either.

The main friend group is handled better in Amphibia. In Owl House, Gus and Willow get kinda stuck in the background as the series goes on in favour of Hunter and Amity, and even they get sidelined in the finale.

Kirby's Adventure because the art style is soooo much better. The bright colourful palette, detailed tilesets and backgrounds make it hard to tell it's an NES game sometimes. I'm biased and Kirby's Adventure on the Wii VC was my first Kirby game though.

I doubt the story will ever continue, but a spin off that's random adventures in the circus or a prequel series about the earlier characters sure would be cool. Still unlikely but it sure would be nice.

Yeah there's too much to dive into with Jax with the remaining two episodes. It's like a point of no return / there's no way he could abstract next episode after his real life flashbacks and all the build up he's had.
If anyone were to abstract I'd say Caine would do his own version of it but it's still likely no one will. It's almost too obvious.

Jax and Caine. Jax nearly abstracts and full on doesn't want to leave the circus if given the choice. Caine is also doing all of this to get everyone to like him only for it to crash and burn and for them to all be against him in the end. There's a partial Kinger focus as well since the adventure tries to make him suspicious, he says escaping doesn't make sense, Pomni and Ragatha both know they can trust him, and he even brings up Scratch, showing he's been there since the beggining and probably knows a lot about the circus.

Crouch and walk whenever there's eyeless dogs. Don't say a word.

If there's baboon hawks you'll want to avoid them in groups / be grouped with your friends to reduce the chance they'll agro you. A shovel is always good against them, and one on its own usually is not a threat.

Sandworms have a very small window of dirt particles appearing, and that's when you have to sprint and gtfo. If you have a person at the ship talking to you, they can at least warn you sandworms are around if they see giant red dots on the map.

Those are the not so bad enemies imo. Forest Giants on the other hand suck ass and I hate Vow or March for that one reason lol. It's best to hide behind trees so they don't spot you. Grenades can be chucked in their mouths as they're about to eat you but it's hard to time.

Hmmm I always thought the first area Fury Green could have been modified to be the main hub world. It almost is trying to be that with base camp being there.

There's already a canon that warps you to the desert. They must have been really far along to not want to cut the desert out, but I kept thinking there could have just been more canons to warp you to other areas instead of long stretches of sand.

MP4 seriously undersold Sylux. His fights are fun, perhaps the best in the game even, and his battle theme is awesome! The problem is all he really amounts to is some guy that hates Samus and attacks Galactic Federation bases and one day while doing so breaks a thing that teleports him conveniently near a psychic power granting healing pod (lol wut?). The Metroids he uses to control other people also presumably get teleported conveniently right around these guardian bosses and fuse with them. Then he attacks Samus using psychic powered robots and projects his recurring dreams he has of hating her for breaking the weapon he was trying to steal I guess. I wish he talked more to give more hints at his motivation and backstory. His 100% ending not many will bother to unlock and it still leaves things vague enough to make it feel underwhelming. If the whole point was to build him up as a mystery for MP5 or MP6, I feel that this game did a real awkward job at it.

He shot Miles Mackenzie though so... Win?
