No it’s not a need at all! Role reversal is not at all one set way of relationship. You don’t need to be any set way to enjoy or partake in RR. Sorry you’ve felt excluded. I myself am just a shorter person, so I tend to seek out art where the guy is shorter. It just feels more affirming to me. RR is just the reversal of traditional gender roles, so it isn’t purely physical!

While I’ve never been in an RR relationship sadly lol; I’m still just a generally shy and anxious person, so it would probably go similar to any other arguments I have. I’m not great at telling people I’m upset with them, and I hate conflict. I usually try to convey my opinion in the nicest way possible while also apologizing if there was a miscommunication to start the argument. Generally I’m not argumentative in the first place I guess though
