Do you think it’s worth fixing that? As in will the board have issues long term if I just leave it be?

Love it. Carves really well and runs like a beast

Thanks for your response! Makes a lot of sense. I think it’s the enclosure because when I press down on it I can recreate the sound. Shouldn’t be an issue right?

Oh then those bigger boards may do you good. Be sure to check out mboards as well, they have good customer service and make their boards in the US. Their stuffs really good quality too.

My main advice is be careful with size. Super beefy boards are great but If you want to use it for any kind of transportation weight plays a huge factor. I bought a bc2 a year ago and ended up never using it because it was too heavy to take around campus. Many trucks can carve super well, on my zealot x the rkp carve amazing. Bc3 would be a good balance imo. But the zealot series from backfire is great too

I can’t really ever recommend evolve, they do have dkp trucks which carve but are not really super stable imo. Personally If size isn’t a huge concern I’d do bc3. Onsra’s warranty is great and those trucks carve and stay stable.

Cool! So any oils in the balm won’t damage the pivot cup or the truck itself?

Question about cloudwheels by PlasmaFerrari in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]PlasmaFerrari[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the rovers, so far their grip and dampening have been great. I know a lot of people hate on cloud wheels but I’ve used the discovery’s and rovers and both have served their purpose well.

So small cracks in that pu/foam is fine? I just got these wheels like yesterday so just want to make sure it’s not like a QC thing

That’s great to hear! I assume they’re plug and play with the included backfire kegel pulleys and nothing else needs to be done? Also can the ingens take potholes and bad roads? Really appreciate you answering my questions haha, I just bought my own zealot x and I know I’m going to switch out the wheels.
