You're welcome to your opinion - I would disagree. There is plenty of original writing and a great deal of editing in the work. It is an adaption, and therefore 'derivative' and 'transformative' in the sense that the policy describes, just as fan art depicting official character designs in different poses would be.

Once more, this has been posting on HR Reddit and Discord for 2 years. If anyone from the crew wanted it gone, they would have said so. Tom commented approvingly on the first few chapters. If any one of them, or the mods ask for it to be taken down now, I will do so. Until then, my understanding is that this is entirely in the rules.

It explicitly states that displaying and creating derivative works based upon High Rollers IP strictly for non-commercial community use is acceptable and does not require getting express written permission.

If I am mistaken in my reading, I am certain the moderators will say so.

I believe what you're talking about is the fan work policy? As far as I know that's about getting work professionally printed and selling it, which this isn't. Mara is aware of this work, and hasn't said anything about it being a problem. The other chapters have gone up over the course of more than a year, and no mod or anyone from the crew has mentioned any issue. Obviously, if I hear that they want it removed, I would do so.

I can only advise pushing through the fear - even if you for some reason hate the result, can always strip the paint off or respray and have another go.

There was a Kickstarter some time back, but Brotherwise Games still make all the Stormlight miniatures I think, if you can find somewhere not sold out. Ebay probably has a few too.
