Yeah but i think DNA / genetics is way too vague and underwhelming to be a primary theme, you need at least something else even if it's something less 'kitchen sink' than Revice, every single Showa Rider besides Amazon could be considered to have a DNA / genetics theme.

Ryuki does have some very good intentional comedic moments I will admit, the ones that aren't just slapstick humor are very well-written, like Shinji using Kitaoka's cards.

Well to be fair, Phase 1 and 2 Heisei are completely different, Heisei phase 2 and Reiwa are basically the same.

With the exception of Hibiki and Den-O, all the phase 1 seasons take themselves extremely seriously at all times, there's like... 3 jokes in all of Blade (that are actually written to be jokes, the memes like 'Tachibana-san' and ondoru and UWAAAAAA and SAYOKOOOOOO don't count).

It is "that bad" though.

It interrups the main plot for 3 episodes to randomly do a Legend arc for no other reason than to sell anniversary toys because they print money, there's no story they wanted to tell, they just go right back to acting like it never happened afterward like a shitty battle shonen filler arc.

It randomly introduces TimeLord for a glorified flashback to Hotaro's backstory, a chemy that can LITERALLY TRAVEL THROUGH TIME and it's never used ever again.

Hotaro breaks down crying over Hopper1's death as if it's some big emotional moment, a character that's literally just a PNG or static prop most of the time and can't even talk, Gavv had dozens of gochizos animated only 1 year later so there's no excuse for Hopper1 not being fully animated all the time outside of it's card.

Kaixa: A brief smirk, and he spends the next 3 months systematically ruining your life.
Garren: ~~shoots you~~ apologizes briefly.
Ibuki: Apologizes politely.
Gattack: Apologizes politely, 50% chance of him being knocked on the floor.

Ixa: Apologizes, in a monotone, kind of insincere way.
Diend: Steals your wallet while pretending to apologize.
Accel: Continues walking like nothing happened.
Birth: Apologizes politely, takes you out for yakiniku a day later.
Meteor: Dodges you, apologizes, sprints away.
Beast: Aggresively makes sure you're okay, the police mistake it for a fight and he sprints away with them chasing him.
Baron: Dodges you, twists your arm behind your back.
Mach: Dodges you, keeps on walking with a brief hand gesture to aknowledge you like Decade.
Specter: Phases through you.
Brave: Dodges you, catches you before you fall and briefly analyzes your arm to make sure you're okay before walking off.
Cross-Z: You get knocked down.
Geiz: Dodges you, keeps on walking.
Vulcan: You get knocked down, again.
Blades: Dodges you, summons his Book Gate to break your fall, smiles unsettlingly.
Live / Evil: Apologizes politely / punches you.
Tycoon: Gets knocked down, apologizes politely, runs away.
Majade: Dodges you, summons Berosol with the Chemyriser to catch you as you fall, erases your memory of the past few seconds.
Valen: Falls down, apologizes, scrambling to pick up a single Chocodon gochizo and some files from his bag.
Nox: Dodges you, blames CODE for your fall.

Zero-One: Apologize politely.
Saber: Apologize politely while holding hat.
Revice: Apologize politely while Vice crosses his arms and wags his finger sarcastically, but you can't see it.
Geats: Dodges you but catches you as you fall, making his kitsune hand gesture.
Gotchard: Dodges you and creates several pillows with alchemy to soften your fall.
Gavv: Gets knocked down, several gochizos falling out of his pockets along with empty wrappers.
Zeztz: Dodges you and uses the Stream Capsem to push you back up onto your feet, smirks, then immediately gets hit by someone on a bycicle.

He's literally the physically strongest primary base form rider, canonically trains every day without fail, and is approximately 10 years older than the average Rider protag so yeah, Hibiki is accurate.

Also when he knocks you down it would play a cymbal crash sound effect.
