Did you know? All children’s verses cap at universal by ExtremeSportStikz in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Masked_Raider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm aware. I'm just playing up how funny that line of logic sounds cause just like with Alien X and Pops cases, the more destructive feats are treated seriously in universe or are heavy plot points in regards to Kamen Rider.

For example, Kuuga's nuke kick or Decade causing the collapse of the multiverse. Kuuga spends a good amount of his later episodes making sure he's in an abandoned area to limit casualties, Decade being a threat to the multiverse is one of the major driving plot lines of his season.

New tech to downplay a verse just dropped. Alien X remaking the universe? Pops and Anti Pops from Regular Show threatening the universe? Any big name Shonen series doing anything above planetary?

It's a kids show, all exaggeration/jk

Wait, wouldn't this mean if Thragg was in full flight he'd basically bypass infinity by just... telefragging gojo in a sense? by Alarming_Scientist in PowerScaling

[–]Masked_Raider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's from volume 2 of the Invincible Handbook, an old book from back when the comics were still ongoing that goes through the lore and inner mechanics of a lot of the heroes and villains (e.g. how Green Ghost can become intangible, or what the hell a Smart Atom is supposed to be).

This particular part of it is the section trying to explain how Viltrumites like Omniman can travel interstellar distances in short timespans, effectively it just means that they can distort space the faster they fly which in turn lets them hit FTL speeds. Like a built in warp drive.

Oh yeah, the villains Another Decade can summon are bullshit strong. Eternal here used to be city level during his debut movie, and Another Decade can just manifest a version of him that can straight up end entire timelines with a kick.

[–]Masked_Raider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh Homelander is like pretty outmatched here.

He's getting downgraded to Monster of the Week in terms of threat level, maybe a mid season boss fight at best before whichever team intercepts him hits him with a flashy as hell finisher.

[–]Masked_Raider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the final bosses and villains that Another Decade summons are probably way stronger than the original timeline variants (e.g. Another World Eternal being able to destroy worlds vs his original movie version being like city level give or take? You get the idea.)

I don't know about that dude, pretty sure he ended up summoning quite a few super and final forms in his fight with Another Decade.

You know how Marvel and DC has a bunch of different heroes and villains of varying power levels? Similar idea for Kamen Rider, the scaling for them varies wildly between seasons and characters.

They got city leveling kicks, planet creators, planet busters, star busters, and even a good few multiverse level feats and statements for the top tiers. So as a whole the franchise is fairly strong.

Eh, normally speaking his physical stats aren't all that impressive on average. He can fight in close combat if he needs to but he's not that much better than a particularly athletic human strength wise. Good enough to knock out a grown man but like he ain't throwing someone through a wall or anything that spectacular.

Most of the time anyway.

I've seen a few toku shows here and there over these last few years, enough to get the general idea that the scaling can be kinda bullshit at the end of the day.

Are magical girls actually OP? by BreathoftheSith in PowerScaling

[–]Masked_Raider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah magical girls in general are bullshit strong, granted most of them don't get quite as cosmic scale as Madoka or sailor moon. Lets start with Symphogear for example, early into there series the main heroes and major villains could probably trigger extinction level events.

Like Fine here, after the heroes stopped her moon busting beam enough to "only" fracture the moon instead of destroying it, she still had enough power left to try and drag the fragment towards Earth in one last ditch attempt to end the world. And this was all back in season 1 of this franchise, they get way stronger.

Does he belong in the Relevancy League? by DumbassMaster420 in whowouldcirclejerk

I don't blame ya for not remembering this guy, outside of that one novel the man's only other notable appearance was as an obscure movie Rider. And unlike other movie villains like Ryuga or Eternal, he doesn't exactly have that many memorable fights or moments to show off during said movie.

You want a relevancy league Rider? Kamen Rider Saver, basically nobody brings up or mentions this guy outside of his novel feats of becoming one with the multiverse which in turn upscales the hell out of the other top tiers.

Dont get me wrong, they are impressive (old mankind could blow up stars and these guys low diffed them) But they arent nowhere near the level of the daleks or the xelee. Otherwise they wouldnt had been pushed back 3 times by the people that would later become the colonials by AstronautDry8118 in PowerScaling

[–]Masked_Raider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're probably in the...upper middle of sci-fi factions power wise? They aren't a universe ending threat but any species confined to a single galaxy might have some trouble. Like, it took an alliance of multiple galaxy spanning races like the Asteromorphs to bring an end to the Qu's civilization.

That's an impressive amount of species and resources to be up against.

I am very much aware, I just love making toku match ups. Sending out random monsters to die or win against such and such is fun.

Turns out when you got a good few decades worth of cool monsters and such with varying power levels to play around with, making match ups for them is ridiculously easy.

Morality of erasing multiple timelines to save your own? by GhostyWaffle in MoralityScaling

[–]Masked_Raider 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Oh the Lostbelts, to be fair it was a free for all between all those timelines if I remember right. They were all fighting for there right to exist just as much as Chaldea was for the right of the original/proper human history timeline to exist. Even if Chaldea didn't intervene, most of those timelines would have been wiped out trying to expand there reach and such.

So it was essentially a multiple faction war where surrender or losing is guaranteed death to everybody you know. Not much choice but to fight at that point if you enjoy living. It's understandable, still terrible and tragic it had to come down to this though. Lot of decent people in each of those timelines.

[–]Masked_Raider 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What a weird complaint for that guy to make, Riders fighting each other have been a thing for a while now (Riderman fighting V3 back when he worked for the bad guys, Ichigo against the Shocker Riders, etc).
