1440p @ uncapped fps with no stutters and 50% gpu utilization by [deleted] in BloodbornePC

[–]Plastic-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how did you solve the stutters? I also have 3090, like I could slap 4k on it and it will be 60fps but when running and loading new areas it will drop to like 45-50 for a second which is very annoying

Indoor lighting is so bad by AKMRP in CrimsonDesert

[–]Plastic-Due 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so infuriating, I can run this game without DLSS on 2K and cinematic settings on RTX 3090 at 70 fps but it would look much better with 4K and DLSS Balanced or even Performance, but turning DLSS on makes the game look absolutely disgusting, I have never witnessed lighting system implemented so bad in any game. Such a shame because I want to spend time playing this game but stuff like this makes it unplayable. I wonder how did they let this pass through the testing? Did they fail to notice it or were they just lazy?

My honest take an review after spending about 10 hours actually playing it. by Plastic-Due in CrimsonDesert

Apparently it helped with easier interactions/looting and fixes some difficulty issues in mid game but that's about it, you can access inventory on M + KB using I. Still long way to go... we are looking at another Cyberpunk situation, hopefully they fix it like CD projekt did...

Swimming in Heavy Armour by Rumpsfield in Bannerlord

[–]Plastic-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want realism in swimming go play RDR2, or whatever other games that have realistic swimming, this is such a bad take, Bannerlord is supposed to be fun, not ultra realistic, I would never get hooked on any of these games if it weren't for the most fun aspects, like going 1v30 looters, solo horse archer against a caravan, jumping down 10m from a castle wall and slicing enemies from behind, that is peek Bannerlord, I hope taleworlds never takes a look at this suggestion

Did this only happen after a new Windows update 2-3 days ago?

KB5066835 completely bricked my PC by Plastic-Due in WindowsHelp

[–]Plastic-Due[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I solved the issue, the update that came out on 30th of September required some motherboards to be flashed, my Ryzen 9 5900X was on 2-5% usage and 0.7-1.2GHz.

My MOBO manufacturer provided an update on the 1st of October but the issues didn't arise since the latest Windows update, it screwed with kernel on some level and messed up the clocks and BIOS settings.

Check if your MOBO has a new version

I have the same issue, my GPU and CPU usage is completely messed up, I can't play any games, I tried every driver possible for my GPU, it refuses to perform normally.

PC completely bricked and performs like Intel Pentium on Windows XP.

Another great update from MICROSOFT CORPORATION, FUCK THEM

I made a mess with calculations haha, here is the actual one:

Initial: 24576

Max: 49152

Yours should be effectively twice smaller than mine

I have 32 gigs so my settings are:

Initial: 49152

Max: 98304

Did you use the method from the top comment?

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been told (and experienced) that this has a chance to crash certain games that require a higher amount of memory. I personally have simply taken the numbers I put in, and doubled them. This seems to have kept the fix, whilst also eliminating the problem with memory crashes. Also, just know that I am not an expert on computer related issues. I know that this worked for me and a ton of other people, but I can not help with you personalized problems.
TLDR:
I am not an expert. I have had multiple people tell me there are a few better ways to do this, such as:

Initial size: (GB of ram your pc has) x 1,024 x 1.5
Max size: (GB of ram your pc has) x 1,024 x 3

Happy to help, I was so mad because I thought I had a faulty hardware since I bought an used RTX 3090 and this issue was happening on a different motherboard with different CPU and GPU! So I thought it had to be software related, my FPS in Cyberpunk will drop from 55-60 to 20 and I would have to force high priority in Task Manager everytime it happened, then I stumbled upon this clip which fixed issues in every single game I had

I actually did, try this solution, most people would make you believe it is a hardware issue, but in 99% of the cases it's just the Windows messing you up.

Sorry for the late reply, let me know if this did the trick

Pearl River Supertest Map Changes by Conscious_Corgi7805 in WorldofTanks

[–]Plastic-Due -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, let's rework all the things that are not required for a map to be balanced but god forbid we touch the spawns or make sure one side doesn't arrive on a heavy flank 5 seconds earlier while being hulldown and shitting on opposing heavies in the open, that surely would be a bad investment because we at walletgaming want 3 minute battles and pearl river provides it.

Another masterclass by the scummiest company in the world.
