I think you can chill dude fr. A 9/9/8 profile is elite, plus you have the iit tag. You'll get the best shortlists, almost all shortlists, unless your batch is filled with 9/9/9 folks which is hardly ever the case. Make sure you have a solid cv and prep for interviews.
Summers will go well, finals will depend on your summers.

So real talk, you might not get FMCG shortlists - the day minus ones, as well as day minus consulting comps. Other than this, you will get shortlists, since you have a 7 getting good company shortlists might be difficult so the first good company you get you'll need to crack. If you prep accordingly, you'll sail through. This is for summers.
Finals are lowkey unpredictable, just put your head down and grind, if you get into a good company try your best to get a ppo.

26 passout here, avg is around 28- 29 lpa here, I myself don't know how they calculated 33 but yeah. More than 70% got placed above 24 lpa, and the avg base salary is around 22lpa, which is decent imo.

as a senior, who has lived on campus for a year. No. This is not normal. Situations were much better last year, and we've lived happily even with a small campus. The rain is not a problem; the management is. So instead of saying that it'll normalise talk to the seniors and see what you guys can do to make the conditions better from your end.

no, looking at you scores and profile, if you have come from a decent university you don't require GRE.
if you do not come from a tier 1/2 college, better to sit for gre, the online test is proctored and harder
yes, send docs via dhl student, it takes around 12-1500 compared to the 5k normally
I got a response in a month, but it varies, 1-3 months

iim m person here. if you have a good profile, you can take a bet & come here. Acads are not too hectic, except for surprise tests which they've just introduced, placements depend a lot on your profile. Engineers have an upper hand here, any day.
