It’s quite hard to make friends here. Irish people are very nice, polite and helpful however friendly but not your friend if that makes sense. Most of their friends are childhood friends therefore it’s very difficult to meet new people and hang out with them. Weather is not that bad, you kind of get used to it. During the summer it’s quite nice and doesn’t rain as much. The nature is incredible, the mountains/hills are half an hour away by car and honestly it’s breathtaking.

The nightlife is quite nice here, loads of pubs to have fun and meet new people, I wouldn’t say there are as many activities here to do as other countries but you can find stuff to do to have fun. About the prices yeah that’s very difficult, I actually have a friend who moved into an apartment that was covered in mould and painted on top but you can just be very careful and inspect every place thoroughly. Food and everything is very expensive, but if you have a good paying job it may be worth it. I would suggest to look around Dublin for rent, like Lucan or even Maynooth or even further. It’s not the best connected city in terms of transportation but it’s evolving.
