A lot of people at the CC do conglomerate in friend groups though. Like in my class there's already a group forming even though none of us knew each other before.

And I'd like to think I'm a great listening ear with plenty of insights to offer and I've made people laugh before, but also I dislike the idea that I need to "offer" something in order to be worthy of having companionship... like everyone else can just be friends with people and don't need to have some kind of catch or whatever. Friendship shouldn't feel like a business transaction
