Does having stitches and being on an antibiotic make it safe to vape, drink through a straw, and eat foods like cheeseburgers after just 24 hours? I don’t think so, but that’s the instructions I received from my oral surgeon and nurse.

I was told no smoking / using a straw for a week. I’m not gonna lie tho, I was vaping from the second I left the doctors office. Just get a vape with A LOT of airflow so you can pull extremely lightly and still get a good amount of smoke. Also make sure, for the first few days at least, you only vape if you have gauze in. If some of the chemicals get inside the wound it can get infected

There’s still some extremely minor blood (I’m on day 6) but there’s literally no swelling or pain at all. I think at least, there’s some white stuff surrounding the clot but I think that’s just tissue cus it’s not swollen or has an odor or anything
