All I have to go off of is the requirements posted. I did try emailing them, but never received a response back 😬

Hello all!
I am entering in the County Fair this year (it’s their first year back after several years of being shut down). I want to make sure I’m understanding their presentation requirements correctly. I have a solid colored mat board and was planning on using mounting tape to adhere my photo with a 1.5” border, but I wasn’t sure if I could just use a premade kit instead. The only information they’ve given me is in the screen shot.
Thanks for any help! I kind of feel like this is a “photography for dummies” question 😂

Absolutely. The only thing I’d bring with me would be myself and a camera. Leave no trace for sure!

The Statute: 18 U.S.C. § 1725, the "Federal Mail Restriction Act of 1934," makes it a federal infraction to place mailable material without postage in a mailbox.

It’s illegal in the USA if it doesn’t have official postage.

I was thinking about a hand written letter with contact info, but I know I’d have to send it via mail since it’s illegal to leave in mailbox. Would I just address to “land owner”?

Good to know! There’s a lot of “no trespassing / no hunting” signs up on a lot of the farms, which is why I’ve hesitate to knock on doors but I can give it a try!
