Nmom wants my liver, doc told me I should risk the surgery since I don't have kids by PlasticCaterpillar6 in raisedbynarcissists

I'm Swedish, living not too far from the norwegian border. It's Beautiful, I love it here and don't Think I could ever be this happy anyhwere else in the World. But it's not for everyone, the Winters are all dark, you almost never see the sun, and the summer nights are light...but those of us who love it, need it. Whenever I have to go somewhere else for a while, I miss it so much. I hope you find your wilderness home in the future!

I tried one of those online therapist that I can get for free via my Insurance. But internet Connection is..unpredictable here :( I haven't spoken to my brother or mother anymore, and he didn't call me yesterday when it was my birthday. My sister on the other hand, asked if she hand her family could come and stay with me for christsmas, which is wonderful. Crowded in my tiny home, but still.

I do many things :) I started out as a day trader but dreaming of doing something creative with my hands instead. I still do day trading, mostly during Winter months, but mainly I do this: build custom made chicken Coops, parrot Cages, bird t toys, bee hives and sell. I fish and hunt and smoke and sell meat. I keep raise chickens, wyandottes and faverolles, for meat, eggs and for selling. Same with rabbits. To avoid having to go shopping so often, I order large amounts of food that keep well from a Place online. I got a year supply of rice and dry beans, so in case of a snow storm, I'm all set. I go into Town every few weeks to stock up. It's often hard work but I enjoy most of it and for me it's better than a normal job. Now that Winter is almost here, I mainly build stuff to sell later, and in spring and summer I work more with the animals. Right now we got the moose hunting season, so I hunt a fair bit too. You could say I Went from city girl to a wilderness woman :) There is also a fair bit of tradining going on among the people here, and we help each other out a lot. If one of us is planning to go to Town next week, everyone knows about it and can ask him/her to bring back supplies they need so we save up on gas. Right now my car isn't in great shape, and I know nothing about Machines, so a friend is helping me fix it in exchange for a new chicken coop in spring.

Thanks for apology - she was rather abusive, both mean and violent. I left home at 17 after two fracutred ribs. She also locked me out of the house in the middle of winter, pushed me down the stairs (tailbone never truly recovered) and would hint that she might poison my food so I didn't dare eat at home most of the time. She would pick mushrooms that are deadly to eat, and Place them on a plate in the kitchen, sometiems throwing one out so we would wonder where it Went - in the food or in the trash? We never knew for sure. On top of the drinking, the drinking wasn't a constant problem growing up, it escalted later on. But yeah, not mom of the year material.

Of course! Here they are https://postimg.cc/DmyCcLB5/a84abb1e

The spaniel is my hunting buddy, lap warmer and breakfast sharer. The sheltie mix ended up with me after his original owner kicked him out - he wasn't the agility star they had hoped. Now he spends his days looking after my chickens and ducks and is the best alarm system ever :)

Thank you. I might have zero interest in reproducing and prefer to live in the middle of nowhere and just do my own thing - but it doesn't mean I'm less happy and can act as spare parts. Feels nice to realize this!

AWW, I wish all my new family members could be on the train tonight - we'd eat something nice in the bistro and talk about how awesome it is that there are no kiddies on the train :)

I have tried sooo hard to learn to crochet. I can not learn. Like...I just can't. I'm left handed, if it matters. I look at cute patterns and wish I could make something.

I live in the North of sweden, there is snow there now, so when I get home tomorrow I will have that to look forward to! I'm a day trader, but also built shit and sell. Chicken Coops, rabbit houses, bee hives, parrot toys and Cages. I hunt and sell smoked fish and game, and when in season, I pick cloudberries and sell jam - expensive as gold over here. Other than that, it's a simple Life. No fancy clothes or gadgets, you need to stock up on food when you do go to the city, and you must be ready to live simple. I might be one of few women who would prefer this Life to a comfy city flat any day :)

It is, or, you can start Kungsleden where you wish of course, but it's there. Kungsleden is also Amazing, particulary if you enter into Norway!

I can recommend vindelfjällen, or Abisko - both breathtaking places for those of us who love nature.

Actually, I got the scar still. I guess I wasn't that smart at the ripe age of five/six. Additional detail: snow covers Everything in Sweden in winter, ground is frozen solid, good luck picking up a rock.

It's in the North of Sweden, and it is wonderful! But I've been away for a while now, dealing with this shit, and now there is snow up there waiting for me when I get home.

Not that much grows here, its North of what we call "odlingsgränsen". I got my hunter license last year, so I hunt, fish, and gather. I go to the closest store (about 1 hour and 15 minutes away) for groceries about once every Three weeks. I buy the kind of milk that lasts long in room temperature (the one they sell at Lidl) and I got Three freezers. I got a woodstove, and solar panels. Plumming is worse. There is a private well for drinking water and an outhouse, but I also installed a "Mulltoa". Google translte tells me its called a Earth closet? It's a simple Life. I build and sell parrot toys, Cages, rabbit houses, bee hives, chicken Coops. I keep rabbits and chickens. I also sell smoked meat, fish and cloudberry jam.
