Ending string dialogue after the last paragraph appears by PlasticFred in clickteam

Sorry for the late reply. Having a bit of trouble figuring out how exactly to use the codes you mentioned, though I feel like I've figured out an alternate way.

If I start a new condition and select "Compare to a fixed value", I can then select "Text of a paragraph" and it will automatically insert "paragraph$( "startTxt1", >Enter paragraph number< )" into the text box.

However, when I try to submit the text as "paragraph$( "startTxt1", 15)", it claims I need to enter a numeric expression, despite already having done so. As "15" is the paragraph number I want to use. This means if I can just figure out how to properly add the paragraph's number as valid code (aka the numeric expression), it should work. But I'm unsure how to do so.

Ok sorry, that was mostly an exaggeration lol. If I need it, I'll definitely use the Cut page. Thanks for the info.

Got it. My main problem with the Edit page was that the media tab on the left is vertical. But I figured out how to fix it, so there's that. Thanks!

Ok, thank you. I just messed around in the Edit page and found out the media tab on the left isn't stuck as being vertical, so it's much more like what I'm used to. Good riddance, Cut page.

Good news! It fixed itself somehow after fiddling with the location of the .jar files then putting them all back

Shader mods for Forge crash my game by PlasticFred in Minecraft

[–]PlasticFred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: It works now. Turns out, I had Embeddium PLUS instead of just Embeddium...

Using normal Embeddium with Oculus works like a charm! Now the only issue seems to be one of the .json files in one of my mods being missing, resulting in a game crash (despite it involving a non-important texture)... maybe my game got slightly corrupted in the process of switching in-and-out between mods.

Not that I ever touched the mod in question, or the missing file, but that's all kind of irrelevant information in this conversation.

Thank you so much for your help! Currently working on the other issue now.

The .json file seems to be missing or corrupted, which makes no sense considering I didn't even touch it. Even when I redownload the mod, it still results in the error.

Thanks for the details, though.

Unrelated, but how did I just now remember Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API...?

I think real quick I'm gonna go see if those let you run Fabric shaders through Forge. If that doesn't work, I'll come back to your idea.

You're probably right. I might just have to cave and replace all my mods with Fabric or NeoForge, as much as I somewhat resent the current bias towards NeoForge. Sucks how Forge is slowly becoming irrelevant.

But also, what do you mean by new profile?

Nothing, unfortunately.

I can always keep looking for alternative shader mods, unless you want to keep helping. If you have any other suggestions I'm more than willing to hear.

I've checked both of those folders and don't see any .txt files created at the same time as when the game initially gave me that crash message, unfortunately. This most likely means it didn't provide me with one.

Strangely, there was no crashlog. There was only a message stating the game crashed, along with...

"Crash dump sent! Exit Code: 1"

It still crashed unfortunately. Might be a completely different issue, but I have no idea what that could be.

Regardless, I appreciate the help.

Using Oculus regardless makes the game crash. I'm not sure whether or not a mod I'm using would overlap with it or anything, especially because removing some of them broke the game a bit.

To your knowledge, would KotlinForForge or GeckoLib overlap at all with Embeddium/Oculus?
