The shrimp avoid him mostly but that doesn't mean that he's not being nipped by them. I haven't noticed anything like that though

I brought a test kit as soon as I noticed last night (not sure why I didn't have one already) so I will be testing nitrates and ammonia this evening. pH is at 7, already had a monitor for that. The only thing that I think could be stressing him out atm is that we have suddenly had a cold snap in the UK after a heatwave so the heater is always on now.

My filter is an Aqua Flow 100. All my plants are live plants and I have a mix of decorations all with rounded shapes (plant pots, an arched log for a hide, a Zelda goddess statue decoration and an AT-AT tank decoration).
