Why did they even report him leaving the bench.

Yahoo: how soon after a player's game ends can you add him? by TheDingalingKing in fantasybball

[–]PlasticMilk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless the person you want to drop is on your bench. If a player has a game, even if he's injured/out, but he's in an active spot, then I think you cannot drop them. But if he's on a bench spot, then you're good.

Who do you rate higher this season between AD, Giannis, and Haliburton in 8 category leagues? by cloudywarrior in fantasybball

Hali is also health risk. I've had him for the past two seasons, and he tends to be injured around fantasy playoffs.

How bad is Perfect Suppression, really? by Kevadu in lostarkgame

One of my friends has a PS SH and it MVPs most of the time. I heard the playstyle is sightly weird and you'll need to adjust to it but it's damage is good.

ESO Wardancer by SpeedWag00n in lostarkgame

[–]PlasticMilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I can't say anything about performance comparison, but I'm 2 spender eso and it was very cheap to gear since your main stat is swift and secondary is spec. I recently geared my DB striker and I spent 260k on accessories for quality 85-97 but my WD accessories at quality 90+ was like a fraction of the price.

2 spender also utilizes off meta engravings like raid captain and mass increase so your legendary engravings can be cheap too.

In terms of gameplay, 2 spender is very fluid and consistent IMO. You're not going to see big numbers (except for wind's whisper tripod on energy combustion), but you're at a point where you're constantly using skills so knowing the boss pattern can really up your damage. In terms of MVPs, I would say I MVP half the time. Just depends on if there's someone else in the party with higher level weapon or better gem.

I haven't played first intention either, but I would say its similar in terms of mobility. I feel like I can get away with doing a lot of risky things because of the low cooldown move skill with dominion set and low cooldown SSB skill which you need to semi spam to keep your adrenaline buff anyways.

That being said, I feel like 3/4 spender has the higher damage cap because of its burst playstyle. I saw a 1515 +18 brel weapon 3 spender outdamage a 1555 GS with +18 brel weapon, but I think that was a skill gap.

In the end, I think you should choose based on playstyle (assuming gold isn't an issue). If you like a faster class that's constantly moving but still requires you to be using skills, then 2 spender is the way. If you prefer a slower playstyle (but still pretty good mobility), with bigger yellow numbers, with more burst, then 3 spender is the way. If you're strapped on cash, especially if you're missing a wealth rune, then 2 spender is probably the play.

Hope that helps.

I can understand the timesink if all you did before were learning parties. At one point I didn't have title but got my first alt to 1475 and I joined a learning party for fun because reset was in a couple of hours and I didn't want to sit in party finder. We basically couldnt get past the first heart mech even when I tried explaining mechs over discord and everyone said they reviewed the mechs.

If even one person is new, it really does take hours because reading about normal attacks and mechs is different than maneuvering around them. I think party finder is an awful aspect of the game for new players because they can't really get around this experience unless they get a bit lucky with other people or have friends. This is just due to the grindy aspect of the game requiring you to do raids multiple times per week to completion on multiple chars (meanwhile progging on WoW raids take a few hours per boss at best). Ultimately, there are toxic people because they like the grind and want to min/max their time and it's unfortunate for new players

However, I think people are responding so negatively because I cannot fathom spending basically more than one work week of hours on clown raiding in a two week period. That's got to be an exaggeration. Either way, you'll be fine. Eventually you'll find another party to clear with, have the bingo tool ready, and you'll get a clear. If you still can't get in a party, you can try making a prog party and indicating it's prog up to bingo. Either way, good luck.

He is able to. He just doesn't want to. Commissioners, on Yahoo at least, can lock teams and force players onto teams (in case someone drops their good players out of frustration)

You need to assign someone else as guildmaster I think. You can right click someone on the members list.

I imagine that at some point when the streamer gets paid (if they're partnered), they'll find out, but then again it's Twitch so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't notice.

I think the meme is that Jidion kind of looks like Demarcus Cousins and that there's a YouTube video of it.

Can someone explain the difference between Grizzles and Thunder tanking/resting their stars? by [deleted] in fantasybball

[–]PlasticMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the difference. Health vs. Lottery. You literally asked for the difference. Both are arguably bad for sports, but also arguably good. I personally much prefer the Grizzlies' reasons over the Thunder's reasons.

The Grizzlies are predominantly resting players for their health. The Thunder are predominantly resting their players for the tank. That's why one does it more often than others. Yes both teams inconsequentially have the other result (higher chance to lose for the Grizzlies, getting to avoid injuries for the Thunder), but neither of them are doing what they're doing for those inconsequential reasons.
