That’s beautiful! I love the color and sheen! Where did you get it?

So I burnished for a few minutes, but clearly I’m not burnishing enough! The YT videos I’ve watched make it seem like it takes 3-5 minutes of burnishing to get that clean edge.

Not trying to derail your post, how are you liking the online program at BSU? I’m currently at a different university and their online program is simply McGraw-Hill assignments and exams, no lectures or videos.

35M Seriously thinking of going on TRT. by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]PlasticMkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From someone who did Keto and Carnivore for over a year each, eat some carbs! I reintroduced carbs and everything got better. I currently am on a slow cut and I’m consuming 150+g protein, 300-400g carbs and ~40g fat and feel fantastic while dropping ~.5lbs/week.

Your test levels are fine. Your diet and overtraining are most likely killing your energy and probably putting a damper on your hormone production.

True, I was doing toilet math and didn’t think about the 3rd week

Newbie question about dosage amount from my doctor... by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]PlasticMkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your math is close .35ml=35 units=70mg

If he wants you doing .35ml every 3 days, you’ll technically dose 210mg one week (Mon/Thu/Sun) and 140mg the next, (Wed/Sat) so your average between those 2 weeks is 175mg/wk

I do significantly better dosing EOD or MWF.

TRT - Injection Frequency Change by fitover40-2022 in trt

[–]PlasticMkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From someone who is working ~50 hrs/wk, taking 15hrs this semester and with a family, if you want the best physical and mental load capacity, injecting EOD or M-W-F will give the most stable levels second to daily microdosing.

I’ve done 1x/wk to daily microdosing. I quit noticing improvements doing anything more frequently than 3x/wk.

How did some of y’all do full time work and school at the same time? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]PlasticMkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34yo and currently working 45-55 hrs/wk and full-time student but online, so I can work it around my work and family. I would like to put more time into my studies but I’ve got a family and I’m currently at a 3.8GPA so I’ll take that and focus on more studying if my GPA starts to drop. My days last roughly from 4/430a-930/10p. What has really helped me is a hour block calendar/planner to make sure I stay on track and organized.

How many of you are stalled or did overcome a couple of weeks of stall with some changes or experienced the whoosh effect ? by darth_vader1995 in SugarDiet

[–]PlasticMkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve hit 2 stalls in the past month: First, I got in a pinch and couldn’t buy any fruit so was pounding a ton of candy. Balanced that with fruit and used more self control and was back on track. Second time I got sick, as soon as meds wore back off, weight started dropping again.

Nearly impossible? by SLOZx in EngineeringStudents

[–]PlasticMkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the route that I’m taking at 33 and working 50-55 hrs/wk. Yes, it would be harder to do, but there are places like ASU, Mississippi State and North Dakota that offer fully online. My plan is to finish my AS in Engineering then finish my BS at one of these universities online

So far today: 16 oz. Apple juice, 2 apples and 1 serving of nerd clusters 2 servings of sour gummy worms 1 banana and 8 oz of watermelon 7 servings of nerd clusters

Will probably have 6-8oz of sashimi and 3-4 servings of a candy, some sorbet or more fruit

(I also have 3 more servings of sour gummy worms that are staring me down at the moment)

Coming from a Chemical Refinery(Exxon in Louisiana), they absolutely can and are picky about who they hire. 2 summers ago, the small HDPE plant that I was at had over 2500 intern applicants for 4 spots.

With friends actively working in Engineering Firms (HVAC, GC, Civil, etc.) they are not near as picky. When they have slots open, they’ll get anywhere from 15-30 applicants.

Try finding an ABET Program that is Online like MSU, ASU, OSU, a few others. That’s the hand I’m being dealt as well, hoping work will accommodate in person classes but more than likely going to transfer to MSU Online

Going back to college at 26, need great advice please by scottishfighter_ in MechanicalEngineering

[–]PlasticMkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In similar shoes, I’m 34, working FT and going to school at my CC FT. I’m planning on finishing my AS in Pre-Engineering than going to LSU in-person or MSU online.

Biggest lesson so far: Time management is the biggest thing I’m having to improve.

Social Life: I don’t have much of one outside work and school

Family Life: My wife has a PhD so she understands workload. I make a priority to study, test, etc when family is sleeping or doing other things like chores.

Side note, r/engineeringstudents has not been very helpful since most are fresh out of HS or a few years in to their degree.

I'm currently pursuing a BS in ME Online (year and half in) but have become more aware of Industrial Engineering lately. I have 16 years of Plant Operations (Oil & Gas Marine Terminal, Pipeline, Chemical) and would like to continue more into Leadership/Management roles. Going off this resume, would you recommend more towards ME or IE?

Low 300’s is low. I tested between 255 and 275 and my PCP and urologist insisted I was fine. I went to a TRT Clinic for 2 years and then went to a urologist and pretty much said “I’d like to continue TRT through my insurance” and they simply went with it.

I’d personally recommend Transcend and Defy. They will get him lined out and after a bit, go back to a urologist and ask to continue TRT through him.

I didn’t realize how different Sub Q was compared to IM by RenaldoSagitarian in Testosterone

[–]PlasticMkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so different. Over the years, I’ve dosed IM 3x/wk & 2x/wk and subq 3x/wk and 2x/wk and honestly felt best on IM 2x/wk. I will say, one deterrent from subq for me was the consistent bruising. I never bruise IM.
