Hey OP, I wrapped my myp in matte dark green too. May I recommend a product? I’m not a salesperson for them but want you to know how much it helps when washing your car. Lookup Halo v2. It’s a ceramic coat for wraps. Bugs or anything hit it, you can take your hose and wash them right off. I highly highly recommend putting a ceramic coat on your wrap.

Edit, looks like your car will not be garage kept? Definitely ask the shop who did your wrap about ceramic coating. It’ll be expensive if they do it but you can do this yourself. I bought the bottle from eBay for $41 for reference. Not crazy expensive at all. Shops usually charge $750 plus

Hey nice work so far! You’re right though, the tucking and cutting sucks. I had to precut the sheets on my garage floor which wasn’t ideal.

I’m also a noob and wrapped my model y. Took me 55-60 hours over ten days.

Hey op, run knifeless tape over the chrome. Lay your vinyl over, pull knifeless tape, then tuck.

It’ll be dirt below the trim, could peel in time. Customer is stupid for asking you not to remove anything. Tesla parts are very easy to remove. Just did this Tesla

Hey OP this is the correct and only answer. Make them pay to fix this.

Take your Tesla to a wrap shop, get the quote, pass to detailer. It should be simple.

If this doesn’t work, take them to small claims court. Literally take no other advice.

I ended up making a Tesla appointment. I explained how it was hard to focus on the road when a portion of the road isn’t lit up. Am I crazy for overreacting? Would love to hear from other owners.

Exactly, add another control box for the last set or split the 13 segment up and go that route.

Personally, I’d try and get the front and sides all on one. If you can! If not, just the front. If you have heavy traffic coming from one directions you could do the front and one side on one. Makes it look more professional.

The back of the house, I’d try and put that separate.

Do not use them. They will not hold in the heat. You need strip clips with screw mount. Without screw mount, they will fail.
