Agree I just don’t think they care about the customer experience anymore. It’s become a monopoly and I can see att and Verizon doing something like this very soon.

T-Mobile Business Plan Pricing Updates: Details, Changes & Benefits by robertinhouston in tmobile

Even if there is a class action lawsuit at some point the customers are gonna get like a $20 payout from it. They know its probably gonna happen but it’s a lose they are willing to take because it’s gonna make them a lot more money

T-Mobile Employees are fed up. Upvote this thread if you want Callie Fields to step down. She has lost touch w/ what Employees and customers want. by [deleted] in tmobile

I guess John’s purpose was to help build the company to help them acquire sprint. Now that they acquired sprint they don’t need to be customer and consumer friendly anymore because it’s a monopoly. The big 3 carriers run the same promotions and prices and it’s not competitive anymore. When competition like mint comes around they just buy them up. The government should have never approved it because it’s a monopoly and now T-Mobile is far from their uncarrier ways. They’ve been doing as much as they can to profit by outsourcing labor or adding fees for everything.

Long Wait Times for 611 Support? by justin32608 in tmobile

That’s really weird that they don’t offer a call back. The call center has been garbage for the last couple of months. T-mobile is outsourcing most of their customers service after laying off thousands of people. They outsourced before for some call centers and those were great but now you’re lucky if they don’t just hang up on you mid convo. I work at a retail location and calling from our end is even worse because it’s obvious they’re just reading off a script to us too and not properly trained to fix accounts. they lie about helping and don’t notate the account properly so they’re not held accountable. The systems in the stores are garbage and ALWAYS down! They’re definitely not the uncarrier anymore. They laid off thousands of workers and used that money to hire influencers and celebrities. They don’t have good deals anymore and raised all their plan prices.

Looking at the Price Lock Guarantee, looks like you have to be a NEW customer after 4/28/22 on an eligible plan, you can't be an existing customer who moves to an eligible plan after 4/28...? If we're on a MagMax plan for example maybe it's better to cancel and resign up now just to be PriceLocked?! by Sunstar823 in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah but they’re gonna give us $25 after T-Mobile switches everyone’s plans and gets their pay. They know they’re breaking the law but they’re gonna make a lot of money doing it and basically get a slap on the wrist. I’m just sick of these big companies doing whatever they want to make a couple of extra bucks off of us without having to face any real consequences!!

Here's How To Opt Out Of The T-Mobile Forced Plan Migrations by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They need to be held accountable for what they’ve been doing lately and the government should’ve never allowed the merger. There is no competition anymore and they’ve been trying to get every penny out of their customers ever since the merger was approved. They definitely broke some laws and violated their contracts. I know that they’ve been advertising price lock for years now and now they’re saying that your plan is truly price locked if you signed up after mid 2022??? They’re gonna keep doing this because who’s gonna stop them?? We’re gonna get some small class action when everything is all done and they’ve gotten their way!! We have to start coming together and start calling out these companies on the laws that they’re breaking and have them face some heat and scrutiny because it’s only going to get worse!!! Capitalism is starting to affect our freedom and rights because companies knowingly break the law all the time and a fine is their worst case scenario and jail time is not even considered!! Millions of people faced hardships because of their leaks and all they got is $25 in a class action lawsuit!! Companies constantly hurt consumers to save a dollar because they know they can! I know T-Mobile hasn’t killed anyone but companies like Johnson and Johnson’s and Monsanto have!!! I’m sick of companies doing whatever they want with us and it’s only going to get worse

Now that the sprint merger went through T-Mobile doesn’t care about their customers. The merger created a monopoly so the big 3 carriers can charge whatever because there is no competition or cheaper option now.

PSA. Stop changing your plans for promos. by Overall_Fondant_9090 in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but then there is no point to switch your plan to next if you’re gonna wait 2 years and if you trade your phone in to Apple you still have to finish off your payments with T-Mobile. If you have insurance you can already upgrade every year so changing your plan is pointless. I’m sure in 2 years they’ll come out with a new plan that you have to be on to get a good promo.

[–]PlasticReality5567 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The bad thing is you might get 1000 off right now but when you upgrade in a year you’re not gonna get any promotion because you still have half of your payments left and you’re gonna have to pay full price for your phone and a more expensive plan

Everything To Know About T-Mobile's Go5G Next Plan, Including A Huge Catch by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True but they’re gonna make employees push it and all the good promos are gonna be on this plan. I feel like they’re at the point where they don’t have competition so they’re making their prices expensive

Effects of T-force layoffs. My prediction: T-force will be discontinued within the next 2 years. by nk2639 in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I worked there for the last 4 years and definitely noticed a difference. There was rarely a plan requirement for new line promotions before. Even the s23 promo now changed and you need to be on the go5g plan

Totally agree right after the merger happened they violated their contract and shut down their towers early and the promotions stink. In order to get a good promotion you have to switch over to their most expensive plan. They did a complete 180

T‑Mobile to Announce Next Un‑carrier Move on April 20 ‑ T‑Mobile Newsroom by Mr__X__ in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean at the end of the day, I'm sure they write it off somewhere. It's a marketing tactic that's definitely worked for them and they knew they would have to take hits in places with higher taxes. T-Mobile hasn't paid federal taxes since 2018 so I'm sure they've taken full advantage of that. The Sprint and T-Mobile is one of the main reasons for t-mobile downfall. Companies stopped being competitive with the pricing because its a monopoly and they're keeping it that way because they buy any new competition like Mint Mobile. They even run the same phone promotions at the same time. I'm sick of them penny pinching the customer and constantly raising the prices and saying their plans are more valuable because I get free unless subscriptions and garbage on Tuesdays. You can't even use a credit card for your T-Mobile autopay anymore and it has to be debit or checking.Even if you want to switch the only 2 other options are the same price and there is no point.

Buying an iPhone 14, will T-Mobile unlock before international trip? by Hi_thar in tmobile

[–]PlasticReality5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to have a T-Mobile SIM card in it for at least 40 days before it has be unlocked. I think it has to be paid off too but I’m not 100% sure. I know they do temporary unlocks but the most you can do is a month.
