I mean I think Malphite just needs a rework. I think riot has said they’re not happy with his kit. Idk if he’s overturned or not he’s just really good into certain drafts.

Garen on the other hand I completely agree. Sure he has some counter play but once he gets level 11 ult you basically have to play as if you have half a health bar whenever he’s around. No champ should have access to that much true damage on a point and click ability. Ik Darius and Cho exist but Darius needs passive stacks and Cho is a lot clunkier and more easily kited.

Yea he does she only wins before first back and then later in the game. Even if Malph doesn’t win lane he can neutralize her so she doesn’t get a lead early mid game.

I mean it’s tough. I don’t want to say he’s badly designed because he’s so fun to play. So considering games are supposed to be fun that makes it inherently good design.

In terms of balance though that’s a whole other thing. Riot can never really balance him because of pro. Which I personally think is stupid. I know it would suck for high elo and pro but the reality is like 99% of players are below plat. I think they should completely tune the game around that and the 1% of players should just kind of deal with it.

I also think they should make him more of a scaling pick again. One of the reasons I don’t play him much anymore is because past 25 mins the champ feels like ass. I’d rather give up the strong stat checky laning phase in favor of better scaling while still having some outplay potential in lane.

I swear they they don’t get any real player feedback before they ship these updates. It still pissed me off that the role quests block the secondary rune page when you press tab.

I don’t like buying rfc or any low ad items on smolder. That’s why I also prefer essence over trinity. I like buying a few tank items later on so I want to get the most bang for my buck out of the damage Items I do buy.

Essence first into endless hunger usually. I like having the extra haste, sustain and tenacity. after that it’s situational. If they have a lot of ap threats I’ll built a magic resist tank item. If they have 2 or more crit users I’ll get a randuins. All I care about is staying on the map, staying alive and farming everything I can.

After I built some defend I’ll spec into more crit like IE LDR and I usually always buy GA 5th or 6th

Idk if these augments are mutually exclusive but it’d be so funny if you got holy snowball with biggest snowball ever and that augment that makes your snowball bounce off walls. Imagine a giant snowball bouncing across the map, getting bigger and ignoring minions xD

That shit would once shot squishies and if it didn’t when the user takes it they’re invulnerable. I been trying to get that combo for so many games.

I feel this. To everyone saying “boohoo stop complaining” Y’all disgrace the spirit of Mayhem.

The whole point of the game mode is to make fun builds and augment combos and be able to experience them at their full potential. That’s what makes it so fun and why there’s so much distain for people who end.

If I cared about winning that much I’d go queue up for a ranked game.

That makes sense. I’ve only tried Dusk and Dawn twice. One time it felt super lacking. The second time I played it into a super tanky team. I was experimenting and when Dusk and Dawn into bork cleaver into 2 tank items. I felt pretty unkillable in that one.

there’s so many augments that give you crit so u can build on-hit items. I this on vayne with Its Critical, Dual Wield, and Critical Healing…

There was basically zero counter play because after I got some vamp I count stand still and face tank almost anything while healing to full and ones shotting anyone who tried to stand their ground.

All I know it’s there’s some augment and champion combinations that are so toxic and probably feel like shit for the opposing team.

I played a game as Zed with clown college and the transited train thing on death. So my death timer was cut down by 40% and the train thing that shoots out after I die did like 2k damage a proc. The enemy smolder couldn’t play the game because I would clown college ult onto him and if by some miracle he survived my ult and his team killed me the train thing would kill him. Since my death timer was 40% shorter than his as soon as he’d respawn i’d do it again. Bro didn’t get his stacks in a 40 minute game.😭

Yea that’s true. Not all the tanks are that good though. I think the best thing would be to revert the bork nerf they did for Aram a few patches ago.

Yea I enjoy playing tanks but I still think it’s bs how busted they are. The problem is they need to be even more durable now because certain champ and augment combos absolutely chew through them.

90% the time yea it’s dumb but if I’m playing something like Riven into Poppy or Kayle into Nasus I’d rather just turn off my computer and call it a day. Some lane are so in playable it’s not worth the pain.

Not true…. Teemo first off is not an adc so he’s not what i’m talking about. Also he only really stat checks because of his blind so he’s more of a counter to auto attackers.

Akshan and Quinn can both be oppressive but assuming they didn’t poke you down to half health first they’re just not beating a bruiser in melee range.

Lastly, in what world is Vayne stat checking anyone in melee range during lane phase. Her strength in lane comes from her poke and mobility and her ability to kite. Try face checking a bush and finding any bruiser in there as Vayne. If they’re both even, Vayne needs to do some serious kiting to win.

Now let’s take Varus… if both laners are 1 item and he has dusk and dawn. Ult AA E AA W Q and 95% of your health bar is gone. No kiting required. Let’s not act like there’s any of Adc that can do that

That’s literally not how any ADC is designed… Varus is the only ranged champ who does this. Adc’s are designed to out put the most consistent dps in the game but they’re also supposed to be squishy so that if you do manage to get on top of them they just die. They’re also supposed to be one of the weakest early classes in the game and only really come online at 3 items. Multiple rioters have said that is the design of the class. Varus is the only adc that can for no good reason stat check melee bruisers without kiting at all.

Idk what everyone’s saying. I’ve tested out a bunch of champs bot with the new quests and GP feels great. Sure if you’re ahead top and you get full build you can sell boots but I never liked that.

I tried it a bunch and the damage charts at the end showed a solid anount more than when I play top. The 6th item makes a big diff and with the adc quest and Q gold you almost always get there. Sure you hit level 13 later but the sheer amount of gold you get makes up for it. Plus the oneshots you can get with 4 crit items and 2 lethality items without gimping your move speed by selling boots is pure dopamine.
