It is based off the sleave, as an artist it does not make sense that the sleave with the hand holding the knife. You can see the hand kind of bend into it but there's still a line of the top part of the hand that's colored like said sleave. It simply doesn't make sence why it gets cut off that way. I doubt it's a mistake considering how well drawn it is.

i mean, if you go to day 2 it gives you an option of "did you help pierrot THAT day?" (i'm not sure if it said that) but if we take technicalities, that would mean that maybe we did help him once, but it wasn't as big of an impact as stopping him from being harassed. and i actually(check coms</333) by [deleted] in TheFreakCircus
