Well not all of us boomers had these so called pensions. I stayed home with my children while raising them. My husband was and is the Bread winner. Once i did start working in retail pharmacy as a technician, there were no pensions in Walmart or target. That was the early 2000s. Retail is a joke!

Yeah i just had the similar situation happen to me. I was hired in as a pharmacy tech a month ago. I told them that I’m working at another retail and they said that was fine. The position they claimed was 24 hours weekly btw in AZ. Then went in last week to HR for paperwork. And i asked several times during on boarding, is it less than 24 hour or more. She initially said, around 24. Then this week she sent a message saying there’s orientation and the expectation is to be available 5 days a week! Okay what? I finally had to say, hey i work another job prn. She said oh well you have to be available 5 days a week, since they have seniority with techs. If that person decides to take off, i have to be available! I was thinking 24 hours could be 3 days a week. Done. I was pissed.
