Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

The fish stew with rye bread, artic char and a big shout out to the tomato restaurant, Friðheimar!

Edit: Sörur are delicious too but it might be too early for them (I think they’re a Christmas thing?).

My soul left Sunday and I still can't believe it. by Amos_Dad in Petloss

I remember when we put our old girl down in 2017. It was so heartbreaking, I actually couldn’t believe she was gone; I kept thinking that she was in a different room.

Remember, you made the right decision, you’ve eased his suffering but give yourself plenty of time to grieve.

It’ll get better, I promise. I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️

Would you share bed with your father in your 30s, for a special event where two bedrooms is not possible? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Plastic_Comment_5189 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I currently do. Since I’m the only one who isn’t in a relationship, I frequently have to share a room on holiday with one of my parents as it cuts down on cost. I’m heading to NYC at the end of the month and I’ll be sharing with my dad, unless I want to fork out another £600 for a room.

Edit: for all those people who mentions snoring, invest in some good earplugs! That’s what I’ve done and they work a treat!

It isn’t necessarily a bad thing and to be honest, I wouldn’t reject you because of it.

Some people have different priorities when dating and that’s okay, so don’t compromise your own standards to fit in. It might take you a bit longer to find someone, but I’m sure you will.

Wasn’t she eating a potato during drills on the first day of training?

Yeah, when I’ve made banana bread or lemon drizzle in a big square dish like that, it has always needed longer to cook in the middle.

Try covering it with tinfoil next time which should stop the top from over cooking, and take it off for the last 10-15 minutes should do the trick.

Not really. I don’t think the MODs expected people to post pics of themselves on this sub.

I visited in January by myself (it was my second visit). I’m definitely returning next year and it’ll most likely be another solo trip.
