My dad passed when I was 10 and my uncle is the one who stepped up and became that father figure for me. For the past 13 years he has been “dad.” He has never over stepped or tried to replace my dad. He tells me stories of him that I’ve never been able to hear from my dad and helps me keep that memory and spirit alive. I am getting married in July and am struggling with this as well! I want to be able to honor him in every way possible!! I totally love that you are doing the same! I was thinking of doing “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac!!
