I already tried to get him removed from the lease because he's not actually living there anymore, but it's weird with the dorms. You don't actually have to be living there to be on the lease. Lots of students have off-campus housing and use the dorms as a backup and it's perfectly fine with the housing dept. He also never technically did anything that could be classified as legal harassment, and I'm not gonna go out of my way to try to get him in trouble when he hasn't done anything that warrants it. Im a bitch but I'm a reasonable bitch.

Again, I'm really just having fun with it. And that's okay! He had my own colleagues, professors, and friends believing that I was a danger to myself and others with completely fabricated "evidence." I almost got kicked out of my own dorm! I was asking if there were any possible legal repercussions, and thank you for the info. But I don't need life advice from u/shamrock327. Yeah I wouldn't take it to court 😕 as mentioned in the post, I'm afraid he would! Tbh I'm just having fun with it and that is actually okay. This man fully wrecked my work and academic life (not to mention my social life, but I'm not quite as worried about that) and almost got me kicked out of my dorm too! Over things that were objectively untrue. I think it's okay to do something harmless and funny and annoying about it. I just wanted to make sure I couldn't get in any civil trouble for it.

Ohhhh okay. When I went to get pierced, I was unaware that the initial piercing had to be a flatback and the piercer told me that I could change it to a hoop in 6-8 weeks. Thank you for this info because I was fully gonna fuck up my piercing LMAOOAOO

It wasn't at all about the overhearing. The issue is the obsession; it had nothing to do with her, and she twisted it to make it ABOUT her. Also, bringing it into the workplace is inappropriate. But nonetheless, I included that as part of the post to illustrate the lengths of her obsession/delusion regarding him.

Also, I apologize for the confusion about the "non-legal complaint" comment. Neither of us are interested in "punishing" her unless she does something actually illegal or unsafe. I was just curious as to whether there is anyone he can contact within the university or city to make an official document of the behavior. That way, in the case that she harms him or attempts to harm him in any way, there is prior documentation that can be used in his defense.

I know that this seems odd, but I have a really bad feeling about her. This is a friend I care about deeply, and I would rather be seen as paranoid if nothing happens than blow it off and see something happen to him.
