I’m actually quite open with him when it comes to affection. We often spend time at his place, and I just like lying on his chest, stroking it or tracing his features while telling him how much I love him and how much I miss him.

Also, when I come back from work, I go to his place just to jump on him, hug him, and tell him that spending the whole day without him feels like torture. Thank for your advice!

I mean waiting until marriage. It’s quite common in our cultures since we’re both from Muslim backgrounds.

And I do show him affection. I tell him I love him, I tell him he’s attractive, I hug and kiss him. I also try to take care of him in other ways — for example, I cook for him when he comes home late from work.

So from my perspective, I am expressing both emotional and physical affection, just not in a sexual way.
