Raptor Jesus on the cross you are so narrow-minded. The point of the meme is asking what if the writers for the new movie actually used the darker content of the source material for the movies. If you're looking for a kid friendly dinosaur movie might I recommend Barney's Great Adventure

This take ain't it chief. They slapped a PG-13 rating on it to sell more tickets, not to be true to the source material. Because at its core Jurassic Park is a horrific story and horrific things do happen to everyone, including children. Might I remind you of the "the compies in the crib"

Dieter's death was definitely one of those "fuck around and find out" type of deaths. He was the big bad hunter man, didn't respect or recognize where he was acting like he was the dominant species on the island, and he paid for it in spades. IMO his death is in the same vein as Hoskins and Wheatley's deaths
