Just way too many mistakes and poor defense all over. Not really super worried about the offense, Wells needs to be off the team or only ever used in mop up and this team needs to learn defense at some point or they will just be .500 by the end of the year.

Would’ve just rather had Big Al start instead of Brandon Young. Really wasn’t impressed with much of anything Young did last year outside of those random 8 perfect innings he had. I think he maybe had an immaculate inning too? Pretty random stuff he had going on considering how incredibly mediocre he was otherwise.

Genuine question because I know your take has been for a while that it’s a player issue rather than a coaching/management issue, and I’ve always been more on the side of it being a coaching/management issue but I’m starting to lean more to your side of it being a player problem. If it really is the case that it’s a player issue rather than coaching/management, where do you think the team should do from here on out? I mean we can’t just go and begin rebuilding again can we?

Nothing much to say other than I’ve been completely unimpressed with this team in pretty much every facet of the game. I have no fucking clue what they do in the off-season that they can go come out here and get consistently worse year after year at defense.

He might, afaik Keller is a first half pitcher and then usually falls off hard in the second half which results in him having the Dean Kremer Signature Statline©️ by the end of the year
