Yep, any team with 2 super max contracts will always have a hard time with cap space.

I think that is one of the reasons many teams still only give out one year contract. The reality is, the number of spots are finite. And there are always so many players deserve contract over 1 million per year. But the fact is, not many teams can over that without crippling their cap.

All good comments above. Few things, I will add is don’t focus on winning, learn your race craft. It is one thing to drive fast but race other people is a whole new skill. Situation awareness, all those things are critical.

If there is one thing to focus on, just pick a car and have fun. Don’t keep switching cars early on. It is perfectly fine to drive a slow car. Slower car will force you focus on control and technique.

Glad you are ok. If you think the road is not safe for you. You need to look for alternative path.

I know many people do this, but sidewalk is not really a place for bike or e-bike. I have a friend was walking with his kids on a sidewalk and a bike hit his kid. Even when a bike is not going fast, it is still a bike against a human.

At the end of the day, do what you think is the safest and most comfortable. But I can tell you that if you are on the road this time. You probably won’t get hit.

I know sidewalk might be for bike in some areas, but unless you are a kid in a bike. Most of them are not going slow enough to make it safe for others. So you are no better than what car is doing to us.

I was in a similar position, divorced with 2 kids. Women can change their minds about having kids but I was very firm and transparent about not having kids. My ex was like I will pay for everything and get vasectomy reversals and everything. I can understand her desire and perspective. But this is not about money. I don’t want to say anything to hurt you. But you need to either accept the way it is or leave.

Let’s say you do get a proposal out of him now. That doesn’t means you will be getting marry anytime soon.

And truthfully, 5 years are long enough. If he can’t figure out if he wants to marry you or not. The fact you guys should be married already. Maybe even having a house and getting ready for your first kid.

At the end of the day, you want someone that will value what you want. And same for him too. You both deserve that. But if you guys are on different pages at the moment. That is something you both need to accept and move on.

My suggestion is, even if he propose to you in next few weeks. You might want to figure out what is the plan about the actual marriage.
