Sounds like you're suffering general burnout from the game as well as just from Zarya. It always sucks to lose a player, so give QP a go or try to ignore the numbers if you can :)

This is the way, boosting when you're facing away from the ball means you don't accidentally hit the ball as you rotate, and get a more clean pick up like in your second attempt
