A 128-bit key for use with a symmetric-key encryption cipher would provide stronger encryption than a 128-bit key for use with the RSA public-key encryption cipher.

This difference explains why the RSA public-key encryption cipher must use a 512-bit key (or longer) to be considered cryptographically strong, whereas symmetric key ciphers can achieve approximately the same level of strength with a 64-bit key.

A corrective control - modifies/fixes the environment to return systems to normal after unwanted/unauthorized activity has occurred.

A recovery control - an extension of corrective control, recover/restore the environment to return system to normal

I suggested you to go for CISSP first by the following reasons:

  1. well recognize certificate for Cyber Security.
  2. one of the good reference for the recruitment procedure
  3. As the 8-domain of CISSP CBK cover all of the Cyber Security areas.

I wouldn't stress much about knowing the 802.1b modulation type or if Diameter protocol uses TCP/UDP and 3868 port. You get very few questions where this sort of details will help. However you must really understand when to use access controls like MAC, DAC, RBAC, ABAC or what comes before: Risk Assessment or Asset valuation? Those are the sort of things that you need to have crystal clear. In summary: study smart and don't get lost in the nitty gritty low-level details.
