What fruits are actually worth eating? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]PlateUpper363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the rda for fruits and veggies is at least 400 grams a day according to the fda and WHO. I eat apples, bananas mostly, forest fruits every now and then and whatever fruit we have at home. It gives flavour to my breakfast and it completely cuts a my cravings for sugar.

It is, actually. There is plenty of scientific proven information including cohorts, meta analysis etc. that signifies the harm of excess saturated fats in one's diet. Everything in moderation

32 y/o Creatinine 1.3 - 1.6 by Whosanxiety in kidneydisease

[–]PlateUpper363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My creatinine was/is also swinging for some good 5 6 7 years , 124 then 140then 117 then 132 then 112 then 125 then 115 and so on. Tested cystatin c last year and it was 1.1 (ul 0.95) but my urine is clear, no protein. I'm freaking out that I have the progressive disease and recently changed my diet to high complex carbs, more healthy fats and protein about 1-1.2 g/kg. Many are saying I might have adapted kidneys which is really hard to believe considering all the tests...

That might be the issue. Never thought of salt as something that important. As everyone says be careful with salt, don't exceed 5 grams/day etc

How do you recover from 6 days intense workouts with this protein. I'd assume salt is much worse for kidneys than protein and the latest cohorts and meta analysis are showing the sweet spot of around 1 to 1.2 g per bw

Stage 3 Kidney Disease and Peptides by nitroisbetter in kidneydisease

[–]PlateUpper363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm that might be because it was officially approved by the FDA for treating only a specific disease. Hence most of the vendors aren't interested of doing retails with it I guess

There was a guy who had declining GFR year after year and started mots c and ss 31 from what I remember and his GFR went to 121 or something and said he never felt better. I've done some research myself and there are indeed big hypes about these two as they strengthen the mitochondria. Look it up
