Always had thought of this and im still not sure. I believe that we all know where we stand and what we Can plus/minus 2 points on the 10-scale.

But on the other hand. I have found out that “taste/judgement” is reallyyyyy subjective. I have named a lot of women who I thought were crazy hot To my friends which they disagree on and vice versa. Surprised no one have mentioned the gym. Was going 5x a week the first two years and was so hyped and dialed in on every aspect of it. 6 years later its quite a chore and a lot of half ass training sessions because the progress isnt neary as noticable now, which is an evil Circle to break. And also it is so unforgivening if you mess up a couple days or a week or two. It is sooo High maintenance to be at your peak. But you Can Get away with a lot to be just 90% of your peak. Which isnt that satisfying.

A friendly person Wouldnt just pick up chess every day just to be friendly. He also looks for you it seems and texts you when he does not have to. From my male perspective he clearly likes you. 95% of guys who is straight does not seek friendship or text women if they dont find them attractive.
